He is why no one should GAF about WRs. You don't need 8023482048 WRs to win titles. You need a great OL though. He's worth more than 100 Mike Farleys put together.

Losing Donaldson would equal instant placement on the Hot Seat for Richt.

Seriously, this dude will anchor that line for 3-4 years. You just don't have guys with his combination of size and athleticism come along very often.

Why is he projected to start at G?

Because it's an easier position to play as a freshman and he has a much lower chance of getting exposed there compared to OT. Plus, G's move around and pull more than OTs typically, so his speed, quickness and first step would be slightly wasted at OT. He's incredibly fast for an OL so he's gonna be a huge asset as a puller where he can get out and clear space for Walton and allow him to hit holes faster and get to the second level much easier and break longer runs and break them more frequently.

That, and between Kc, Brown Jr., Sunny and TSL we should be able to have 2 respectable OTs and all will be 3rd year players or older. At OG all we have is Darling and Gauthier that can actually play and Gauthier will probably get some PT at C as well, especially w Linder's injuries.

Really it just depends on the kids we close with. But OG is probably his fastest path to PT. Can always move him to OT later.
