True. The Trojans haven’t been nationally relavant since Carroll left. At least not consistently. Nice win over Ped State in the Rose Bowl. Beaten down by Ohio State in the Fiesta or Cotton Bowl. Bama destroyed them in one of those opening game specials.
 
So today’s narrative is that USC is a bunch of savages because they hired a guy who lost his job because he couldn’t score against some of the worst defenses in all of college football?

They’re in the Big 12. Being 16th in offense is a given. Now tell me about his scoring against Ole Miss, TCU, K State, and Baylor. A true genius, that guy Klingsbury.

Oh, I don't doubt he's looking for someone - too much smoke, imo - but it's not for what people are hoping for. It's probably for some vague analyst position or some sort of passing game adviser.

Kingsbury would kill it down here. If and If he goes to USC he'll kill it there. I think hes waiting for more offers. Miami doesnt have USC money thats just the way it is.

Weis wasn't in high demand like Kingsbury is. Kingsbury's being targeted by NFL teams because of the offenses that are in college making their way into the NFL. And just because Weis didn't work out, doesn't mean every other highly coveted coordinator wouldn't work either.
