Kliff To USC

Why is that so unbelievable?

Because there's a high chance he gets wrecked. Being a HC in the NFL is harder than CFB for multiple reasons, one of them being the parity in the league. Although he put up big offensive numbers, he struggled to get his teams to consistently win in college. I doubt he would do any better in the NFL as a HC, most likely worse.

Either way the Kingsbury news is not even true, some stupid Trojan website posted it

Marvin Lewis, Hue Jackson, and Jason Garrett are/were HCs in the NFL. Coordinators that show some success, even if it's like 2 years, become a hot commodity quickly in the NFL to be HCs. I'm not saying the guy is the next Bill Belichik, but if he shows success as an NFL OC, I don't see how it's out of the realm of possibilities he gets a HC job. It happens a lot in the NFL, Adam Gase, Pat Shurmur, Dirk Koetter, Frank Reich. Left out Matt Nagy too.

Huh? Last I checked USC has been stuck in mediocrity for the past decade?

USC just beat PSU in the Rosebowl in 2016 and won 11 games last year. lol.

Since our fall off in 2004, USC has won 10+ games 7x, won their conference 7x, played in 5 NY6 bowl games going 4-1 in them, and won 2 national championships. Lol. I wouldn't exactly say they've been stuck in mediocrity. Just the past 10 years alone, they've avg. 10 w's/yr (that's including this 5-7 season and Kiffin's 7-6 season in 2012).

It's not up to USC's standards, of course, but they've been in much better shape than us and we've had a much easier schedule over the course of the same time frame.

I bet you he was never even on Richt's radar.

RADAR??? CMR says what is that!? He just heard about this fancy piece of technology called the telegraph, though. It's amazing, you can transmit short or long beeps all the way around the world... He sent Kliff a telly a week ago. Once they decipher and send back a message, Rick expects to have a response back ready by the start of next season.

Whoa there “ Mr straight out of Compton “ you won’t be coming in here disparaging the good god **** name of cookie 917 with your agenda driven Southern Cali bs.

Even if it’s true.

I'm not debating whether he can land a HC IF he does well as an NFL OC, I'm laughing at the thought that he would be a successful one. I agree there's a bunch of HCs in the league or have been HCs in the league that should of never gotten the job to begin with. A bunch of the HCs or former HCs you named aren't any good. Reich has been in the league as a coach since 2008 and is the one that has shown the most promise out of all the ones you named. Most of the ones you named were NFL coaches in some capacity for a long time before they landed HC gigs.

His Wikipedia page says he’s a bachelor and is looking forward to running through them hoes on Sunset Blvd. Whoever added that in needs to be crowned. Hilarious.

Get use to disappointments concerning the hiring of offensive coordinator. There are many colleges that are more desirable than Miami for oc to go to. We no longer have a good football program and have been changing head coaches and coordinators on a regular basis. No top oc will be interested in coming to the mess we have created the past 16 years. We are what we are and we are what we will be.

I knew they’d get him. He’ll turn that offense around overnight and is the polar opposite of Helton offensively. If you’re open minded you don’t have to hire coordinators who do everything like you do. Instead, you hire guys who give you the best chance to win.

HE hasn’t signed, it’s a false article by a wanna be Trojaninsider website. Like Ferman with Gruden.

That definitely looks like mom and daughter, perhaps no relation to him, but that’s one hot milf!

USC fans and alumni put there money where theor mouth is.

Actually, go to their message board and you'll see the same kinds of complaints over there that you see here:

- when is this administration going to pony up to pay for a high quality coach?
- when is this school going to spend the money it needs to compete with other schools
- we need to be more innovative on offense given the amount of skill position athletes we have

etc.
