There’s been some wacky things said in this sport but that’s up there as one of the wackiest given the fact that they lost the game and really got dominated in all 3 phases in that loss

Doesn't matter. This thing is about business-- money and ratings-- get North Texas and BYU out of the equation altogether. No one wants to watch those two teams, and put in both UM and ND. Set it up for a possible rematch, the money will print itself.
