Completely forgot about this kid but I really wanted him a few months ago...we could use some safeties...

Kid named Hester, plays safety, multiple exclamation points from jamaicancane.... I don't know jack **** about this kid but **** it, I'm on board. Let's get him.

Where does this kid play I've never heard of him?

In New Jersey, he's a 4* safety who UM and us fans wanted in the summer but committed to Rutgers. Also, he has a relationship with AQM and Olsen from way back so hopefully that helps us

He was our #1 Safety and committed to Rutgers.

I mean I do one of these every year and it always seems foolish in hindsight, but I just can't help myself after Saturday night:

Close on Hester and JC Jackson
Close on one of Cook or Michel
Close on Dixon and Njoku
Close on Moten
Close on a JUCO DT
Close on a couple of wild cards to offest the natural attrition over the next couple of months (like the kid from Dallas or Jakob Johnson, for example).

All of a sudden every one of our weak spots has a major infusion of talent coming in.

Word on the street is Mich st and Narduzzi are making him a priority

JC

We need to make Narduzzi our priority and reel him in as our DC

His next move will be as a head coach, end of story. There is already smoke around him at UConn (apparently he is a Northeast guy) but I wouldn't be surprised if something better comes up. There is going to be crazy movement with jobs like Nebraska, Texas, USC and Florida all potentially being open. If I was the AD at Nebraska he would be on my short list. Same with Louisville if Strong takes a higher level gig.

Narduzzi, Kirby Smart, Scott Frost...that is the next wave of coordinators that will get their shot as a head guy somewhere. We couldn't afford any of them.
