Kirk Herbstreit

We watched the game on the ACC Network and it was great. Their crew was on the sideline with Edge, Calais, etc. talking about the plays and what was going on the whole time. I don’t know why y’all watch that ESPN crap if you have the choice to avoid it.
How bad is Jimbo’s twang?

Let’s be honest that Ole Miss was the better “story” after everything Lane did to tear them down, and after beating UGA behind a QB who started off the season as 2nd string, and after transferring from Ferris State. And the announcers always get caught up in the better story.

If we play Oregon the announcing will be fair as both programs are viewed similarly. If we play IU, 75% of the story will be about Cignetti and the IU turnaround.
And Mendoza playing in his hometown against the team that didn't want him. Twice.

Agreed. I watched as well. Loved Jimbo calling out the refs too.

Kirk just talks too much

He doesnt need to comment after every play and just needs to let the game happen

He's not a broadcaster

I'm sick of him too. I miss when he used to be a journalist. Now he is trying to control the narrative too much like everyone else on ESPN.

His partner in crime wanted us to lose...bad
The one incomplete pass where Ole Miss player didn’t even catch the ball and Fowler was like “yeah that’s incomplete he was falling backwards” as he didn’t even have the ball was hilarious

“Biggest home game in A&M history”

“OSU players determined to be first team to go back to back in school history”

“Ole Miss winning when their coach quit on them”

I DONT MIND RUINING ONE MORE FAIRYTALE ENDING

We match up better against IU I just am not sure about facing them they seem to have the Disney movie thing going for them now , but boy would it be fun to give them a bad ending lol so I’m torn

He took his victory lap instead of giving the team credit, I thought it was a real **** thing to do. He could have chosen a different time to ask for his flowers.....Also, that doesn't mean what he said was untrue

If we match up better with them than that's a good thing. I was torn on who to root for tonight because I just assumed Oregon would be an easier team (hypothetical spreads have Indiana -5.5 and Oregon -2)

My priorities for the NC are:

1. Miami wins
2. Oregon doesn't

So, the next best case scenario is an Indiana national title.

The OSUck spread was 9.5 IU being 5.5 doesn’t mean **** . They are like a Walmart version of our team .

I bet he has a ton of good insight tho
Yeah, it was great because Jimbo gave the coach's perspective the whole game. He talked about what the defense was showing, what play he would have run, things like that. It was a million times better than dumbass commentators that are just pushing a network agenda.

Plus, he and the rest of them were wanting Miami to win, and half the game they had a former player of ours there with them. I would pay hulu more money to be able to watch all the games with that experience. Best way ever.

**** him!

You all act like he knew this would happen. He was taking yet another gratuitous shot at Miami.

I'll take the results but he didn't know it would turn I to this.
Agreed. I will never thank Kirk for this.

First of all, Jonathan Vilma was behind it. Kirk didn't do any work.

Second, Kirk did it for ratings, not because he cares about us.
