They barely beat the best team they have played to date. ND 20-19. They have beaten garbage outside of that game. App State, Samford, overrated Miss State, and a garbage Tenn team. Pump the breaks bud.

$EC minus Bama is not what they used to be..................really!! It's amazing the number of chuckleheads in south Alabama that still believe the $EC are heads and shoulders above the rest. The $EC was at best the #3 conference last year.

For those who deny it are homers and i
I get it, I dont want success there either but he is doing a good job.

Georgia is good but let not crown someone who beat a team that should of gotten blown out by GT, gave up a hail mary with 7 seconds left to the worst offensive team in CFB, and a win over a ND team that went 4-8 last year, a overrated Miss State that beat a terrible and overrated LSU team.

Shutting them down was impressive though.

I'm not crowning anyone.

I just think it's time to give the guy some due.

Georgia is good, but Tennessee is very bad.

Georgia may be good enough to cruise until Auburn, though.

He's found a QB with Fromm. Their defense is playing a lot more aggressively than last year. It was a good move for both programs, and both coaches. Richt is back home with the best recruiting in the country. He recruited South Florida fairly well when he was in Athens, and now he has the home field advantage. It's still Alabama and everyone else in the SEC.

Cut the sh*t...

Jake Fromm stats:
Jake Fromm UGA
7-15, 84 YDS, 1 TD

Tennesee is BADDDD...The SEC east is bad...

SEC might be overrated but it’s still head and shoulders better than the CURRENT ACC.

GA tech lost to Tennessee; Duke? Dismantled Friday; Wake? Be serious; VA?; FSU? Pitt is bad; UNC, winless; NC State lost to SC; can’t forget forgettable Boston College. Won’t even mention by name the conference interloper that’s in the conference for all but football. And in the top 25 purely on “name”. (The SEC would never allow partial membership and neither would the Big 10. They’d already ruined the Big East with the same crap.)

VT, Louisville, Miami and Clemson are the only teams that look like they should have a winning record this year. Clearly the ACC has fallen off.

Here we go.

The SEC isn't head and shoulders above ANY Power 5 conference. Talk about going purely on "name".

Believe what you want. They might be living on their name, but the ACC is clearly living off last year.

That said...there’s just a lot of bad football being played everywhere, it seems.

But you said the SEC is head and shoulders above the ACC. Go ahead and defend that. Who is putting them up there.....Alabama and who?

Better still, I’ll let you keep believing that this years ACC is better than or equal to the SEC.

So you have no answer. Not entirely unexpected.
