Maybe I'm reading it wrong, my understanding wasn't that Mario didn't ask Mel for opinions about Cam...instead, it's that Mel didn't even bother talking to Mario to get the scoop on Cam. And Mario basically called that out. Now Mel is on his heels.

Plus, Mel is saying that he didn't talk to Coach Neon Prime about Shedeur Sanders either.

What kind of sports "reporter" expects everyone to beat a path to his doorway, as if he is the Dalai ******* Lama?

Mel thinks he doesn't need to make an effort anymore? The phone has become too heavy to pick up? His sense of entitlement and privilege is just wild, that everyone needs to CALL HIM if they want a player to have a fair evaluation.

It's been said thousands of times, but man, the disrespect to Cam was unlike anything I've ever seen and could not have predicted. I kept wondering why TV morons were talking over Cam getitng picked, and why they didn't have a great puff piece for him to fire up and play. It's maddening, but I love that this puts a chip on his shoulder, and now as a new Titans fan, you know he's going to play Jordan level ball. Some guys feast on disrespect, and even work hard to find it. This is a gift.

Yeah poor wording, I was speaking for myself on the Titans fan, should have said "I" know. But either way, any Canes fan is gonna pull for Cam and that's good enough even if ya don't take the full leap.
 
Kiper is a fossil they have so many people doing the same thing he is just an old voice in a crowded field
