The ego of this ****. He had an epileptic fit during draft over Shadeur mainly because it made him and his board look bad. He came away looking like a narcissistic goof. Then he makes it about himself again because Mario didn’t ask for his opinion on Cam. These media ***** think they’re much more important than they really are. Next thing he’ll have a MK pin on his jacket like the other goof Ryan Clark.

I felt like I was taking crazy pills watching all this play out. He's acted like an ovulating 15 year old the last month, it's really, really weird.

I think the hype damaged Shedeur more than helped him, and Kiper certainly contributed to that. The ironic part is that if Shedeur does well at Cleveland, which is likely, Kiper will feel validated in his hype.
I don’t think he’s going to do well at all. He has a weak arm and no athleticism, and I question his work ethic.

26 years of failure would like a word.
He can perform well without leading to the success of the team. They can't get out of their own way.

I should be clear that I think Shedeur is better than his worst critics claim and it's within his power to be a decent QB.

His talent may be better than his worst critics claim.

But, usually, players who are this arrogant and self-centered tend to fail.

Which is why I won't prognosticate as to his future success. I worded my first post poorly by saying "likely." I didn't mean that he'd be jumping into the starter role in game 1. The clips we've seen thus far have been encouraging.

It's all in his hands. Let's see if he can step out from his father's shadow.
