Kliff could afford that beach side mansion he wanted on a head coaches salary. I dont think he is the greatest coach in the world but he would properly utilize the talent on offense. **** if we are not chasing Natties might as well be entertained. Who wouldn't pay to see that offense. If your going to be average to above average at least be entertaining.

I'm sure you've been in a coma for a few weeks so I'll give you a pass for not knowing KK was hired for big $ to be USC's OC so he has the money and the beach house.

Well aware he was hired at USC as an OC. He could leave at any moment for a Head Coaching job. There is talk NFL teams may still sign him as an OC. But i hear you.

Literally wrote in the start of the thread that I didnt think he would set the world on fire. He consistently upset teams in the big 12. Offensive genius. Never had this much talent on offense at Texas Tech. You can find a D Coordinator anywhere. Offensive masterminds are harder to find. Plus he could do no worse than what we have. His offense would translate perfectly with SoFlo talent.
 
Kingsbury will be in the NFL soon. He has spent the past 2 offseasons showing NFL coaches his offense including Andy Reid.

And how do u figure we buyout Richt and still have enough money to hire a "name" ??

till the weather dips below 50, and the SFL talent runs for the heaters
 
Probably stuck with Richt for a while. Best chance is major overhaul on offense (hire an OC/QB coach; move Jon to waterboy, work under his mother; do something about OL)
