King is "Ready to Start"

One thing in that ESPN story caught my eye. It mentioned that he was more comfortable making audibles now based on his understanding of the offense. I wonder how much of an impact that could make it getting away from “wasted” plays that stalled drives last year when it was clear we were outnumbered but couldn’t audible out of the play last year.

I was thinking about the King' Miami career yesterday, and since it's his b day today i'll share. (even tho who cares what i think LOL)

That first touchdown king got diving into the end zone vs UAB was really something special in my eyes.

Being in the stands towards the end of the 2019 season was so so bad. watching us drop the FIU game, duke & getting goose egged by la tech, and seeing some of the worst QB i may have ever witnessed at the D1 level was literally sickening. i deleted all my social media after the FIU game because i couldn't stand the negativity i knew i was going to be seeing on there.

We hadn't scored in that UAB game until the second qtr, and i remember hard rock being so quiet and prepared for the absolute worst, we were so trained to be prepared for a miserable dog fight with non P5 team.

then our QB dove head first into the endzone, sandwiched into 2 defenders, willing himself to the score even though QB's are never supposed to get hit like that.

ever since that score ive been so appreciative for king, i was born into the canes family but didn't start understanding football till like 2006 bec i was too young, but no doubt in my mind that he is the best QB i've seen wear orange & green.
