Huge fan of this kid, just the epitome of what you want in both a player and a son.
Win or Loose no tears will come from blades, he's going home to play video games..He knows. Thats why he posted 2 tweets. 1 of our TF DT about football & 1 about blades talking about nonsense.
Huge statement.
I too hope that the mentality he brought to the program - and others like Harley has shown recently - isn't wasted once he leaves and instead grows among the team.
Believe when Susan (yes that susan) recently asked, he said he had a "team handling all of that", and was focused on football.King just signed an NIL deal with the Florida panthers. Wasn’t there talk that the players agreed the NIL stuff would simmer down when fall camp started ?
I just find it hard to believe that these kids will be able to focus on playing practicing and game planning along with schoolwork and then also manage this NIL stuff. The focus will be on making money.
And don’t get me wrong I hope king pockets as much cash as possible. He’s earned it. And he’s a hard worker. But I worry about the other kids who’s work ethic is not as established.
Ok that’s good then. I just hope this doesn’t effect our on field playBelieve when Susan (yes that susan) recently asked, he said he had a "team handling all of that", and was focused on the football.

The amount of academic support all players get is truly impressive. For a guy like King, who's either close to graduation or already working on some other nonsense credits, there's plenty of extra time. It's been a while since I was in college (and at UM specifically), but I can only imagine the support structure has gotten even better.King just signed an NIL deal with the Florida panthers. Article says HE will appear at home hockey meets of which there are FIVE in October alone.Believe when Susan (yes that susan) recently asked, he said he had a "team handling all of that", and was focused on football.
Really great article on King's rehab from start to present. He has an inner strength and drive that few people possess.
