Semi - serious, do you think Folden is doing this on purpose? I am seen some bad coaches in my day, but even the worst saw when something needed to be changed. (Scheme, coach, approach, etc). If they executed the change successfully is another story (ex:clappy)

Folden may not be the greatest coach, but I have no doubt he is somewhat a intelligent man. I mean 90 percent of the people who watch the games see the obvious problems. I mean you have announcer blatantly calling out our issues.

Which lead me to believe his doing this somewhat on purpose. Holding the school hostage, right? I mean there no way a man can be that blind and stubborn, right?

I'm sure that a man who has spent his entire adult coaching football really, in his heart of hearts, wants most of all to lose. Probably, he's doing it to hurt you personally.

The fact that the OP is even semi-serious is an indication that the OP is at best, semi-intelligent.

I've had similar thoughts. There's no answer for his loser motivation. It's also a waste of time to contemplate it. Whether he's malicious or just stupid, is immaterial. He needs to immediately go, for the good of The U.
 
Maybe it was his last gift to Joe Paterno when he was on his death bed Folden promised to bring down the U and turn it into a flaming mass of rubble.

Ok since you put it that way. We go with he is legitimately a idiot. The only two options I can see. Since you have a grasp on the situation, explain his MAC and ACC record. I'll wait...

Think he just doesn't really want to be here since he was rejected by Ped State....but he wants this admins to fire him so he can collect his $$$$ and sit on his *** if he wants to.

Would probably like to be somewhere like Miami of Ohio or even an Ivy League school when his buyout runs out. If it's not going to be his dear alma mater, then #### it.

Some of the stuff he does is just so outrageously stupid that it definitely makes you wonder. I don't understand how he can be a head coach for any team anywhere at the collegiate level if this is really him trying his best to win.
 
Worst coach I've ever seen. Does nothing well. When the HC's purported specialty is defense, and he fields the historically worst defenses in the history of the program 2 years in a row, then you know the guy is a total loser and abject failure.

You're waiting for what? I'd go with obstinance as the reason, perhaps incompetence. But you're the one who (now) has decided to go all in on the idea that he's trying to have his team lose. Dude, that's just stupid. You had a brain fart. Just admit it and move on.
 
A case of being 'In the trenches' combined with 'smartest guys in the room' syndrome.


They have their heads down working week to week and can't see the big picture of the larger abject failure. That, and they really, really seem to think that eventually what they're trying to do is going to work.

In that thread about Kehoe calling Gonzalez and Romberg, Fat Al is credited as saying that he won't change the scheme because he doesn't think the current personnel on defense is capable of doing anything else. That and he says the safeties are bad at playing the ball in the air. Also said fans and former players who criticize are living in the past and don't realize that the game has changed.

Let that sink in then try to convince myself or anyone else that this guy isn't the biggest piece of phucking **** loser you have ever seen on a sideline.

Then people wonder why the team plays like it does. This team is infected with this douchebag's loser attitude. He must be removed asap for the sake of this program. This is urgent. Time is of the essence.
