I’ve heard some - rarely - were found on the Brunswick County beaches. Shark teeth can be found on Caswell Beach on Oak Island.

I see divers in the Cooper river all the time looking for them. A buddy was working a water pipe leak crossing a golf course and the hole was like 15 feet deep and he found one, it was big as his palm.

They’re not just in rivers. There are places where I think they’re in dirt/ cliffs/ledges/ old creek beds...

This entire Cache of Projectile Points was found by a close friend 100yds from the Santa Fe river 25yrs ago....all made of the same flint/chert...all made by the same Indian....took him 2 days with his brother and wife to unearth them at a depth of only 2 feet....I've actually held them in my hands...They are the Greatest Projectile Point finds in the History of Florida...was offered $250,000 for all of them, and he turned it down....Complete Insanity....They're Dubbed the "Bat Wing Cache"....Even Google has a story about them....

And thats a small one....A buddy has 3 Mammoth Teeth that make this look like a pebble...He even has an assortment of Mammoth bones, with cut marks on them, made while Paleo Indians were Butchering them...
