Hoping UAB decides to keep the football program. Gotta feel for those kids getting their team cut right out from under them. If it does happen, does anyone familiar with the program know if there are any players/coaches worth going after for UM. OBVIOUSLY, it is UAB, and anyone worth taking is probably only worth taking as ROLE PLAYERS. So please don't get your panties in a bunch and cry about the sad state of our program. Everyone already knows that.

They have a pretty good RB, Jordan Howard....he is in the 6,2/215 range....he is an inderclammen....their coaches did a nice job with that team in this,,their first year...it wouldn't surprise me if the HC and staff end up at one of the jobs that open.

Is this a serious post?

Absolutely. Most D1 programs have at least a player who has the ability to play just about anywhere. Charles Sims is an example of how picking from a lesser program can work (Houston to West Virginia). He is now playing for the TB Bucs. Houston is in C-USA just like UAB. There were 11 players drafted from C-USA in the 2014 draft. There are also 5 former Blazers in the NFL currently. Once again no one is saying that they are a team full of world-beaters but there may be one or two kids on the team worth at least taking a look at.

Can we schedule a game against them? Might actually make it to 5 wins. Maybe. Our patented prevent defense might be able to stop them.

why would any kid want to leave one program and head to another that is probably the closest (maybe only penn st is closer to being shut down) to being shut down itself? Miami is an ncaa violation away from the death penalty, financially its hard telling because no one ever says anything about it, and a ****** football team could lead to us no longer having a team

"You go home to your big *** house." "What am I supposed to tell my 3 year old? That the numbers weren't right?"
