I can't be the only one that thought that was a horrible decision. Punt it or go for it. It was 4th and 4, I believe. Making the FG only makes it a 2 possession game, which it was at 33-20 anyway.

It’s similar to when he bypassed going for it on 4th down in the National Championship Game by kicking a long FG instead… that no one expected a struggling kicker to make.

I didn’t mind this because you’re trying to make them go the distance and take up time

Not to mention if someone wraps up its 4 &11 instead of 4th & 3
