And the punter will sign next week hopefullyWe dont have a new kicker
There is this unsubstantiated myth that Bubba was a bad kicker. He only missed one out of 46 extra points and his field goal kicking was "hampered" by the fact he only attempted 12, making 9 or 75 percent for sixth in the conference. Two of his three misses were from 40-45. Clemson kicker made 65 percent.
He'll be signing his NLOI next week. What happened to the Aussie punter?
He is a good kicker, and was only a true freshman. He has the potential to be one of The U's best kickers ever, as shown by his tremendous leg demonstrated by the number of TBs he had during the season. Remember that the kicker is only about 40-50% of the equation. Don't forget the LS, the holder, and the blockers in the line. They all play a very significant role in the entire effort. There is this unsubstantiated myth that Bubba was a bad kicker. Baxa was very good, especially for a freshman kicker. People think NFL kickers grow on trees. A college kicker making 75% of his FG attempts is very good. Some of you guys have to watch other teams play sometimes.
