Khairi Clark commits to UF

Rumor around Gainesville is Clark loved Muschamps banana trick . It made me him commit on the spot. Not too many coaches can deep throat a whole banana.

The most predictable of phenomenae...10 pages of grown men freaking out when a kid decides to go elsewhere.

Just win baby.

Weve been irrelevant for a long time. Start winning and things with these DTs will change.

the dt wilkerson from temple sure had trouble with goldens scheme. why would any dt want what he got

sarcasm on

Why don't you ask any of the big time DT recruits from the 2011, 2012, or 2013 class?

no need, I see proof from a 2 star who bought in. what does bama run? what does over half the nfl run. yuo do your thing in this scheme you get paid.

So all UM has to do is cherrypick absolute prototypical DL talents, hand them over to maybe the best S&C program in the country, and they'll be successful? Whew. That's a relief. I thought you were going to suggest something wholly unrealistic.

The SEC is not on a level playing field in terms of letting kids not go to class, take roids, and pay them. The entire sport has been ruined by the SEC being allowed to do whatever they please, and AG continues to lose out on the elite kids as a result.

I've said it hundreds of times, you CANNOT expect Miami to be back as long as the SEC is allowed free reign.

all it takes is one whistleblower.......ask the NSA

Go ahead and ask them. Like they give a ****.

This. I think people forget we have been irrelevant for 10 years. We need a 10 win season in 13, build from there, and things will change. Kids want to play for championships, it has little to do with scheme IMO (hence Bama having no problems).

Let's stop talking about this traitor and celebrate the young men that have given us their pledge today. TRUE CANES

Your correct, they have season tickets

ughh fo realz

Yes. First we thought it was unimaginable to lose Bostwick. Then we surpassed all levels of fail previously thought possible letting Morschamp take Moten from STA. Now we've gone full ludicrous spread and lost a 5star kid from Chaminade Madonna whose parents are season ticket holders at a position where we've taken 2 kids in 3 years. My daughter's yorkshire terrier could out-recruit this bull****.

So you think it is bc of lack of effort?

I don't care what it is. There are 20,000 coaches who could do better at the University of Miami than land a grand total of Ivery and Moore in 3 years and then lose a 5 star season ticket holder from Chaminade.

Okay a few things

1. No disrespect but you sound like a child and you're supposed to be a Mod. I am not going to preach about "NSD is X months away" or "the gaytors paid the kid." He likely will go to UF and we will need to find someone else. With that said I assure you the staff is not losing kids like Moten, M. Thomas or Clark for lack of effort. I am not making excuses, in the end the staff will fail or succeed by how well they recruit and develop (the development is key).

2. They landed more than that but the key is not landing, it is developing the kids. A few kids UM has signed in the past have turned out to be bums that were highly recruited (i.e Marcus Forston), that doesn't mean that every 5 star will be a bum and this isnt a stars argument. It means IMO that even if you sign them you must develop them. The development determines the success, stud DTs who cant be developed will result in failure for the staff just like landing unknown projects at the position and failing to developing those projects.

3. Miami will live and die by their success or failure at the line. It is the most important position, so if they are not landing XYX they better land replacements and develop those players.

Can we stop acting like one DT from freaking TEMPLE getting drafted into the NFL isn't more or less an aberration as opposed to some indicator of Golden and Dorito's keen eye for DT talent?

Yeah I can't believe DT's aren't jumping at the chance to play for Miami based on the strength of one player who these kids never saw play a single snap, for a program that is as historically bad as any in the country. Why be interested in going to the SEC where playing DL, and simply having a pulse almost assures you of being a 1st round draft pick, when you could come to UM and hope to be the next Muhammad Wilkerson! Yeah I can't believe that recruiting strategy isn't paying dividends.

recruiting strategy? now just how in the **** do you know that is their strategy? way to take some idiot post from a porster and turn into a strategy failure on the staff

Oh so the staff's strategy at DT hasn't been a failure so far? Intredasting. I guess we could worry about that, or we could sit here and worry about my exaggerated hypothetical made to prove a point. Honestly, I hope their strategy is to blurt out "MUAHHAMAD WILKERSON!" whenever a DT recruit asks them a question because you can fix dumb. If they are giving it their best shot and still striking out on every. single. target. then Miami is f'd for the foreseeable future.

we will see if he hums the same tune when he is at Sun Life watching us beat the gators.

Sorry, sat through 10 years and 2 full regimes of this post. This isn't brilliant mature commentary from a level-headed scholar regardless of what you're telling yourself, it's rehashed failure rationalization. No disrespect intended.

Outside of Pierre #3 has been non existent. This year and next are gonna be vital for judging the coaches ability to develop, or lack of ability.

Failure rationalization, good one. Domesday Panic would be a good way to describe your post.
I think you failed to understand my point.

Here it is again

If we miss big kids and sign others then we will ultimately be hudged by the success or failure from the development of those players.

But feel free to disagree.
