Didn't know he was a commit. Don't think he'll get playing time here but he has the frame to put on weight and maybe carve a niche in the defense. Stiff has **** though.

Can we just wish this young man the best? No need to be critical of someone chasing a dream and trying to make US happy with his play on the field.

Only thing I worry about for Mr. Washington is the one thing he can't control-his health. I worry about shoulder problems for any player, but the shoulders are what safeties use to deliver damage. If he has some fragility in his shoulders then he could have some disappointments in his career. But I wish him the best and hope his body allows him to be the player he wants to be. I am more confident he will become the person we all want him to be.

I'm just super happy to finally have some safety depth.

I expect Washington will play his 4 games in 2020, then red-shirt. But it will be interesting to see how much he fills out, and if he ultimately sees the field as a Striker, or if he pulls a Redwine and keeps working on his agility and cover skills to be a solid safety. He's a little but of a project, but the attitude and raw materials are there. And Banda loves him.
