Keyshawn smith catch...

Likens rotates them but Lashlee is the oc and has complete control of the offense . It’s not a cooney conspiracy theory it’s a playing older guy theory. That’s in every position group, offensively and defensively.
**** has been happening for a while now, I don't know why anyone is surprised. It's obviously infuriating, but surprising? No.

That's why I'm not going to be surprised when the two 5* Safeties we just got don't play much when Bubba Bolden, Amari Carter, and Gurvan Hall all return.

The incompletion I referenced was Smith's (the one everyone wants to call a catch). Wiggins is straight trash. He's probably the least productive WR in the history of UM football.
Oh okay
Yeah to me that one should have been reviewed

here’s the funny thing - even the big time schools with much more talent than we have play their young kids. Look at UGA - Pickens was their best WR since he was a FR and burton started this year - as a FR. yet Miami, we roll out 2 junior duds because the freshmen “aren’t ready yet”.

That guy is a natural receiver. Wiggins is trash. Pope is trash. Both are just athletic and that’s it. Lack the IT factor. The intangibles
I disagree that they are just athletic. Athletic would be the ability to play fast, CATCH, and make plays where there are none. Things athletes do. These guys may just have straight line no pads speed but they play very non-athletic.

if these guys are athletic every single corner and DB they have faced are all-time Deion Sanders level HOF athletic.

Baffled Smith didnt get more playing time. Looks like a stud & speed demon. Worried a guy like him will say f it and portal back to Oregon/Washington where he's from. Staff needs to drop Pope/Wiggins like a bad habit desperately

This is why when it was said the "WR competition" was open again was all BS... Something is open but the same 3 guys never get bumped?? I mean good for Harley for coming alive but they're gonna tell me no one beat out Pope and Wiggins?? No one??? Drop after drop after drop and no one else could get on the field to replace them???? Freaking sad man.....
And then there's McCantstopanyonerunningnearme at DE..... WTF????

Its about practice reps guys...

you need 800 reps to go play a game you have been playing since you were 7.
We also run 3 or 4 routes... which the coach will signal to you from the sidelines

This BS narrative about learning the playbook is embarrassing

play the best guys and let the older ones who can’t get the job done leave via the postal

You know it’s bad when we are talking about a catch where the player didn’t get his feet down as a positive.
Yeah it is sad. Cause a guy that’s not getting much burn is making an actual catch on a difficult ball... while two bums getting all the burn are dropping easy balls and sure TDs.

It’s downright ridiculous that Wiggins saw the phucking field after that first drop with his track record all year. He gets the most snaps on this team... wtf?!? I mean our young guys must real suck nads to not even get a few more snaps. Coaching staff puts this OR **** on the depth chart to satisfy the critics and take pressure off themselves. Phuckin’ P-anal-ytical *** wipes! Speaking of analytical, Manure should take a look at who has the most drops per target in FBS and see how well Wigs and Popes did this year to warrant all those snaps. Dude talks a good game, but if u are an analytical guy u gotta actually practice what u preach.

I know peeps are busting on fans that think an incomplete ball is a good thing. But the dude actually “caught” the ball! And if Perry threw it sooner it would’ve been a TD. Smith did his job. If 2 other fools did their job this board would be praising Manure for the ultimate comeback after the ****-Baker let Okie Dokie go up 21 in an instant

Da ***** people!

Seemed to me like the juniors weren't ready. But you are correct we have seen this too much in Manny's short two year stint. Talented players are stuck behind underperforming upperclass men. Look at McCloud. Blatantly one of our worst linebackers. Then they move him to DE, and shoot him up the depth chart over guys like Chantz Williams who have been there all season. We have to play the best players if we are going to be serious about playing winning football.

It's absolutely horrifying how that came about... I've tried to support the staff on a bunch of stuff and still do to some degree but that made me lose major respect points...

Everytime we've thrown him the ball he's open it seems. He gets separation and is a natural reciever. He's the best of last year's class at wr and I hope he starts next year

I know the pope and Wiggins drops have been discussed ad nauseam, but how can you see smith make a catch like this (didn’t get his feet down but still a good catch) and let this be his only target while still throwing the ball to 6 and 8 and watching them make billy bob look like randy moss? It’s one thing to hope the freshmen are better, it’s another to see a firsthand comparison during the same game.
I've rewatched this play several times in slow mo and his right foot is still on the ground when he high points the ball (you can even see the little rubber pellets fly up). The ball is secure throughout and never moves when he hits the ground. Definitely should have been reviewed.

So it’s fair to say him and Don are easily the most underused know assets on offense. Why is it that everyone can see this, but the coaches. Elite is elite
Added note: If the coaches don’t feature these two next season, at least one of the two won’t be here in 2022. I’d bet my reputation on that. 💯

The entire staff does it
Do you think this is something Manny really stresses to the coaches? Maybe a way to keep kids from leaving early? I've thought all year it had to basically be due to Manny because it's hard for me to imagine we have multiple coaches who actually want to do this ****.

I'm hoping Lashlee basically played along this year but tells Manny he won't going forward as it's bad for recruiting, team chemistry, and development, etc.

About the same time we started Wrs that can’t catch I’m guessing. 88 can at least catch, which is job #1 for a wr I think. 6 and 8 can’t. I can have my kid make a picture for you to understand it better If needed
Smith should see plenty of PT next season. Foolish to keep him on the bench.
