Keyshawn smith catch...

Our director of recruiting is Scarface bro.

He has so much political power that he’s been passed over for wr coach when the position was open. Stuck in the same recruiting position lol.

Unreal.
Then that’s a really bad job by Lashlee

About the same time we started Wrs that can’t catch I’m guessing. 88 can at least catch, which is job #1 for a wr I think. 6 and 8 can’t. I can have my kid make a picture for you to understand it better If needed
Will that picture include the boundary lines that delineate a catch in the field of play from an incompletion? If so, I suggest you study it yourself for a few minutes before you hand it over.

Payton was getting burn then dropped balls , ran wrong routes and is a bit of a knuckle head.
Redding was playing a lot early then the Covid happened. Same with alot of the young guys. Tbh nobody did anything to prove they deserved time. The one guy that leaves me scratching my head is Smith. He flashes, was the only one who got behind Clemson db’s, then he flashed again yesterda. I get that gripe.

I think they’re just playing favorites with upperclassmen. Chaney flashed all year end was obviously the best rb, yet how many carries did he get yesterday? Is that cooney ?

Wht about the ol ? Gaynor and scaife get their poo pushed in every other play, is that cooney?

Diaz has said countless times Lashlee runs the o and that’s his deal , manny stays around the d. So you think somebody with that much power and pull would be controlled by a recruiting guy ? The whole team is biased to older guys , should I even mention lb?

Notice this conspiracy theory is leaving out all the other areas where there’s favoritism towards older guys , whys that ? That let’s you know how silly this.
No I’m with ya but I just can’t believe in today’s CFB with the portal and manny and this staff knowing **** well if you don’t play the best guys regardless of class seniority you’ll lose them to the portal and leave you with older lame ducks

i know right? I hear scouts all the time say they can’t trust a guys hands during a workout because there aren’t lines on the grass To know if it was an official ncaa catch...you must be stupid
The literal act of catching is something smith proved he can do. our starters can not do that or make a catch as defined by ncaa rules. Clearer?

Wr is an area I’m intrigued to watch leaving. Payton is one guy I’m watching. Not that I know anything , he’s just in a weird spot. Plus a lot coming in. I also think they push hard for a portal wr.

But it’s not apples to apples. Cooney isn’t a on field coach.

To play Devil's advocate......

It's because those are Ridge kids. It's because we've heard the favoritism/loyalty he has for those kids because he's known them for so long....which anyone can understand, right or wrong. It's not saying he's the only reason but if he has favorites AND has the ear of Lashlee, maybe it's not without some merit.

Why did Couch start getting reps over established Junior starters?
Why did Chaney and Rooster get carries so early in the season with Cam? Cam was established back, having 500 yards under his belt in 2019.
How did Flagg get ANY reps over old players and other Rfreshman/Sophomores?

It has to be more than just them being upperclassmen. We've heard Harley admit to them just going through the motions. We've seen the coaches claim they were opening up the competition by putting "OR" in the depth chart. We've seen other young guys get reps. The WR reps though? Very few in recent weeks when WR play was poor.

First off all the Fr got Covid , the vets didn’t.
Second you mention the Fr who got burn at other positions but leave out Redding and Payton playing early.

Why would a recruiting coordinator that got passed up for wide receiver coach have power over a ***. Head coach / oc and wr coach? Do you really under stand how wild that is?

I’ll repeat this , he’s not even an on field coach. He wanted the wr coach spot badly , if he had all this political stroke how does he get passed on?

I see. You needed to see that one incompletion to solidify in your mind that Wiggins shouldn't be starting on this team and that the coaches play favorites with upperclassmen. That one cemented it for you. Got it.

Where did i say power? I said had his ear, has his trust and was giving his opinion.

Maybe they talked of opting out or leaving. Wouldn't be the first time Pope has considered it. Who knows. The optics for this specific position have been "off" for a few years and people have been trying to connect the dots.

What you’re saying makes too much sense for these idiots to comprehend

Lol at “one incompletion”
Dude been DROPPING wide open passes his whole career here. Had two wide open TD catches last night. One on the screen and one where he could’ve fair caught it and walked into the end zone after the DB fell. Worst starting WR in cane history

Cooney politics is on Manny too! If Lashlee isn’t in charge of WR subs, then Manny needs make the change and tell Cooney to **** off and kick rocks if he doesn’t like it because his guys are straight garbage.

The incompletion I referenced was Smith's (the one everyone wants to call a catch). Wiggins is straight trash. He's probably the least productive WR in the history of UM football.

You know it’s bad when we are talking about a catch where the player didn’t get his feet down as a positive.
