About the same time we started Wrs that can’t catch I’m guessing. 88 can at least catch, which is job #1 for a wr I think. 6 and 8 can’t. I can have my kid make a picture for you to understand it better If needed

My guy tried his best to get that toe down too; just had too much air & not enough space. But that’s all hands FADING out of bounds. And do u see the separation he created?

Anyways; go back to his recruiting thread & u’ll see my thoughts on him. This staph, man. This is the type of kid who goes to Oregon & sets the field on fire

It’s the new narrative lol. The recruiting guy has more power than the wr coach and the associate head coach / oc. But all of the other upperclassmen playing over young guys isn’t cooney ? It’s one of the silliest theories I’ve ever heard here , and that says a lot

I hate to believe these rumors about Cooney making things political with “his guys” having to start

but **** man idk how you watch those two play ALL SEASON and not start getting the true frosh burn/experience because they ain’t doing nothing but hurting the offense(and team) so what’s the difference in building confidence with new guys for the future

Payton was getting burn then dropped balls , ran wrong routes and is a bit of a knuckle head.
Redding was playing a lot early then the Covid happened. Same with alot of the young guys. Tbh nobody did anything to prove they deserved time. The one guy that leaves me scratching my head is Smith. He flashes, was the only one who got behind Clemson db’s, then he flashed again yesterda. I get that gripe.

I think they’re just playing favorites with upperclassmen. Chaney flashed all year end was obviously the best rb, yet how many carries did he get yesterday? Is that cooney ?

Wht about the ol ? Gaynor and scaife get their poo pushed in every other play, is that cooney?

Diaz has said countless times Lashlee runs the o and that’s his deal , manny stays around the d. So you think somebody with that much power and pull would be controlled by a recruiting guy ? The whole team is biased to older guys , should I even mention lb?

Notice this conspiracy theory is leaving out all the other areas where there’s favoritism towards older guys , whys that ? That let’s you know how silly this is.

I understand OP's point. Get Smith in there and give him some targets over the bums that are Wiggins and Pope. Because based on one incompletion that was nearly a catch, Smith is the guy. I'll do one better: without seeing Smith since Clemson, I can tell you he should have been starting over Wiggins.

But it wasn't a catch, unfortunately, and it's still a sad commentary on the state of the program that we're asking to start Smith over a near completion.
 
Our director of recruiting is Scarface bro.

He has so much political power that he’s been passed over for wr coach when the position was open. Stuck in the same recruiting position lol.
