I know the pope and Wiggins drops have been discussed ad nauseam, but how can you see smith make a catch like this (didn’t get his feet down but still a good catch) and let this be his only target while still throwing the ball to 6 and 8 and watching them make billy bob look like randy moss? It’s one thing to hope the freshmen are better, it’s another to see a firsthand comparison during the same game.

the young guys dont understand the offense and the complex 4 routes they run

Maybe they want him to hit the portal so Pope and Wiggins can start again.

I was hurt he couldn't get his feet down in bounds. Kid has a bright future man

The kid made a **** of a grab, would’ve been better if got his foot down, but don’t discount the effort.
It also seems like Smith was open whenever he got a chance.

As sad as it is, it was nice to see a difficult catch actually get caught. This feels like baxa and feagles all over again, but with wr’s
 
There’s gotta be a reasonable answer out there somewhere... but after hearing from Harley that they were just “going through the motions” and then the coaches saying they are opening up the competition only to trot out the same trio... I’m not sure there actually is a reasonable answer

If ball is placed better he gets his foot down. All he is saying is that dude looks the part when he is given a chance. Wiggins and Pope would alligator arm it. They are body catchers
 
Boggles the mind how these cats have consistently been so bad, & get rewarded with the volume of reps they get ( & squander )

If the young guys by November of their Freshman year aren’t up to speed then that’s on coaching in the modern game.

These limp dik age & knowledge of the playbook excuses only compound the problem.

Find kids that can separate, catch, & have wiggle and or serious grit. coach’em up & play the best ones.

Yup it’s on the coaches
Even if he dumb af, you just tell the guy to go out there and run a fly route and not worry about anything else. you can still play him. Tell him run a screen, reverse. Or a smash route with his dumb *** lol
