Keyshawn Greene commits to Nebraksa

1) So if we dont go after Greene we suck and if he goes to Nebraska we suck.
2) We dont know if Machado's visit was cancelled because of Greene. Machado's still available if he wants to visit bring him on a visit after signing day.
3)Hyppolite is alot of hype because of a 40 time outside of Maryland and a portion of this phanbase nobody else was checking for Hyppolite.
4) Damned if we offer early damned if we offer late.
5) I'm focused on 2020 class not the past.
6)See 5 this class is solid and will continue to grow and get better.
You clearly are hellbent on defending this **** show, so it is useless. However, point by point:

1) No one said that. Again, you recruit the guy AND YOU RECRUIT OTHER OPTIONS IN CASE HE SAYS NO. However, Greene aside, this defensive staff has continually shown an inability to accurately read recruits. Not sure how much more proof you need.
2) You are right, we don’t have Diaz or Patke on record saying that is the reason why, but you really do not need much in the way of common sense to put that puzzle together. Machado was scheduled, Greene decommitted, staff thought they had him locked up, cancelled Machado, and is now trying to circle back around.
3) Hyppolite is not the only other linebacker recruit in the tri county area or country, just an east and convenient example.
4) I think you are confusing identifying/evaluating/offering with accepting commitments too early.
5) The past keeps repeating itself. It is also not the past, but rather the present of the roster. Diaz and his defensive staff’s recruiting of LB and CB over the last three years is why we had to play a walk on at LB this year and why we could not bench Ivey. It is also why both of these positions are at critical need this signing period. And yet we are seeing the same mistakes continue this year.
6) The class is solid at DL, RB, WR, and S. It is abysmal at CB, LB, and the OL. QB is obviously entirely reliant on how Van Dyke develops. Incidentally, those three positions are our most critical needs because of the last three recruiting cycles. I am not sure who you think is coming to continue to improve this class because we have an incredibly small board, have shown past propensities to not close at positions, and now have a 6-6 record to recruit against. I’m sure you will point to Christian Williams as an example, but we need two of him at CB, another one at LB, and three at OL. That is a LOT to pull out of thin air for any staff.

I'm not hellbent in defending anyone I'm just hellbent on dikc riding other peoples options when I have my own opinion. Are we dine with 2020 recruiting? Early signing day coming up and that's it.

Well your opinion is not rooted in any form of logic or common sense and ignores all evidence and past behaviors of this staff, so to come to these ridiculous conclusions that our recruiting strategy and results at LB, CB and the OL (our three biggest needs) are somehow acceptable can only come off as being stubborn or willfully ignorant.

So how do we have the class we have now if the staff sucks so bad? Recruiting is not over yet we have three oline commits with Reed back in the team also. We red shirted a **** good linebacker this year plus we have linebacker commits coming in. We will sign more corners we will be fine. Just because you dont see it today doesn't mean it ain't happening. Do you know what's going on behind the scenes and who we are talking to? No nobody does but I'm sure Manny is aware we need more CB's. William's last year came out of nowhere.

Would you prefer I dikc ride and add to the toxic garbage that's allready being posted?

No but doing blind opposite makes you no better...So to review, **** riding is never good...Just making an idiot of yourself by blindly defending undefendable things is just as bad

Personally, I don’t think the class we have right now is that great. We have great RBs, really good DL, solid WRs, and I like Van Dyke. But I do not see a lot of speed, I see an unbalanced class, and more of the developmental guys are at positions where we need people to play ASAP.

I like Huff, Brooks, and Cave... but you need more than three guys and the rest of the LB room hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

We also only have two OL, one who is a developmental guy and then hopefully Rivers can develop into a tackle instead of another guard that we play on the outside.

With regards to Reed... Bringing back a guy that left midseason worked great this year with Jeff Thomas. He quit midseason and didn’t lock down a starting spot on this disaster of an OL, so I am going to be skeptical until he proves otherwise.

You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes, and neither do I, but they have a lot of spots to fill and have wasted a **** of long time when they could have been building relationships and figuring out if guys are cultural fits. But hey, this method of building a class has had great success over the last couple of years.

My question is to say they have wasted alot of time and then to say you dont know what's going on behind the scenes your basically saying they're wasting time then your saying you dont know for sure. Let's both do this. Let's wait and see how we finish after this season is completely over. I'm pretty sure we hit the portal and juco.
