Key veterans wanted Heaps

Remember when key veterans wanted Larry Coker as coach, yeah we won a ship that year, but how did the rest of the Coker era turn out after he had to recruit his own talent.

I can't fault the coaches if Kaaya beat Heaps out, but they coached like pure trash and that's the problem.

Of course they wanted Heaps. The day you announce your starting a true frosh we almost guaranteed a loss to Louisville. These guys here for there last season don't want a true frosh as the qb.

Kup and Crowder have inside sources? Sounds like their inside source is probably a Magic 8 ball. Crowder probably can't read and Kup is a blowhard on the same level as Sileo.

Canes win 3 games excluding the little sisters of the poor next two weeks.

Bull****, we lost to Louisville because our coaches called plays scared and didn't let the true freshman run the ******* offense.

IMO, starting Kaaya was Coley's decision. He wanted to roll with the guy whom he personally identified and recruited. These seniors obviously want to win now, so it should be interesting how they support the true freshman going forward

Well, true or not, they're talking now about divisions in the team and Al being close to losing the team.

Sorry but we lost because we are starting a true frosh at qb. Golden isn't a good enough coach nor has a built a good enough team to overcome playing a true freshman in game 1 on the road against a decent program. Even if he runs the offense he still probably makes to many mistakes to win the game. Trust me I'm not making an excuse for Foldens fat *** because we shouldn't be in this spot in the first place.

You could clearly see the frustration on the faces of Dorsett and Walford when Kaaya threw the pick intended for Dobard. He needs to sit. He's not ready.

**** you Golden

Crowder talking about how even the Gators had Zook's back when he was fired. If Duke and others don't have Al's back, it's over.

Also, keep bringing up Dorsett complaining after the 4th down

So now he lost the team after two weeks of reading how starting Heaps would be a coward's decision.

Never gave two ***** for a player who didn't have their teammates' backs. Leave that pouting bull**** in high school and get behind Kaaya.

I totally believe this. The reaction of the players when Kaaya was announced spoke volumes IMO. Ive never heard reactions so muted and just "stunned". The most positive thing most players could muster to say was "well, if he's the guy we will support him" and sh*t like that.

To me, that says they thought starting a True Frosh on the road at UL like that was a HUGE gamble and a potential disaster, and they were right.

And NONE of that, is a Knock on Kaaya. I think he did as well as a True Frosh could be expected to do in that situation, especially with our horrible playcalling and OL.

Terrible decision by Coley IMO.
