But those supposed great recruiters weren't pulling their weight recruiting. Not a recipe for long term success.Maybe Mario hired some of these people more for their recruiting chops and name rather then their football acumen, and now he has to blow it up sooner then he thought.
Yea but he’s righting the ship before spring ball starts. I like his Columbus bff coaching ol. Don’t see him leavingBoy Mario really fkd up his initial hiring process. Hopefully he had a change in philosophy this time. All his key hires are gone except his bff who should be limbless right now.
I think I know what you mean, but holy **** do I hope this is really not what the "big leagues" look like. Changes because of positive growth are great. These changes almost all stem from other reasons. This is what the big leagues look like. Lots of changes will be going on nearly every year.
Sometimes coaches just aren't good fitsgod **** mario completely whiffed last cycle
Agreed but didn't Smith bring Parrish with him. And we picked up some good rbs this year recruiting wise. I think Mario's happy with what he got out of this guy.god **** mario completely whiffed last cycle
Oh well, that makes sense then. From Ole Miss 247 writers
" The very familair name is current Miami running backs coach Kevin Smith. I am told there is some level of interest in returning to Ole Miss and that Smith's wife never moved from Oxford to join her husband in Miami. So, she and the family remain in Oxford and that would seem like a draw for Smith to return."
So this was the safety net, huh? From Ole Miss 247 writers

Completely cleaning out the offensive staff and D doesn't look like its far behind. When Feldman said there was a lot of dead weight on the staff, that wording didn't come out randomly.
I hope that in the future it is primarily b/c they are leaving for promotions, not b/c we have to keep firing under performing coaches. I know it's normal for the big programs to let people go, but I don't think any of them are firing 50%+ of their staff each year. This is what the big leagues look like. Speaking of Seider, why did bro have to help Diaz on EVERY defensive recruit PSU landed in 2023? Seider was literally the Primary on any recruit Diaz was involved w/ & I believe that was only 3, total.Dawson was at WVU with Sieder
Agreed. This year, the changes were due to change in strategy. Plus, if you do not perform (especially in recruiting), i get the impression Mario isn't easy to work for.I think I know what you mean, but holy **** do I hope this is really not what the "big leagues" look like. Wasn't one of selling point of smith coming so family could be close in south Florida and grandma could see kids and such.. I think it makes more sense that if u get blown out at home by mtsu that heads roll.. Mario is god son right now so everyone else gets blame even tho he had unlimited budget to hire everyoneOh well, that makes sense then.
Hopefully, it will be less than 24 hours. Assuming Jackson's trying to get out because he followed Addae from UGA.How long does Addae have left?![]()
