Kevin Olsen next year

Dude we all hate fsu as much as you do but what the **** are you talking about?? Dudes got a cannon. He just understands better than most when to let it rip and when more touch is needed.. dudes legit as much as I hate to admit it but he is the likely 1st overall pick in the 2015 nfl draft as of now

LULZ my hatred for FSU has nothing to do with my analysis.

He's an awesome player. All I said was I don't think he has a laser for an arm (which is kinda overrated anyways).

Is there any chance that he is our **** Winston or Johnny Hand****? Continuing the trend of a Rs Fr QB in the Heisman hunt.

While he may very well end up a great QB, he will never be a huge running threat that they both are. Kevin is a pro style QB that if given protection will pick teams apart and smart enough to use check-downs and take what is given.

Hum, sounds like every NC QB we have ever had. I like that a lot.

Jameis Winston is interesting because his arm talent doesn't suggest sure-fire #1 overall pick.

But he's accurate, and he has really good intangibles.

I haven't seen much of Olsen, so it's impossible for me to see if he has those characteristics.

What arm talent are you referring to? Hate the Noles, but his arm talent is elite.

He's accurate, but he doesn't have a cannon. He's got good enough arm strength, though.

He does have one **** of a Cannon. He can make every NFL level throw. But on a side note in every publication I have read. Our Stephen Morris is the only QB that NFL GMs describe as having an ELITE NFL caliber arm.

NOT SAYING HE IS BETTER THAN WINSTON!!!!!!

Yes Morris is very very close to ryan mallet arm strength. Ryan had the strongest arm I've ever seen, I think that cam guy on here has seen Ryan throw as well. That kid Malik whos committed right now has a cannon as well. That being said, I don't think there will be someone with Morrises arm at UM for a long time after he leaves.

I want NCs. Don't care about anything else. I loved Vinny, he got Heisman and deserved it. Never saw any better at the long ball. For me, the best qb to ever play at THE U, but I'll take Steve Walsh, or Bernie or any other NC qb we have had. Maybe if Vinny was a little less great, JJ would have given the ball to Highsmith 5 more times against PSU and we have 6 NCs. Give me the QB that brings the NC home. Al will have this team back to what it always was, with enough talent that we just need a leader that makes the right throw not ALL the throws.

How would we hear if olsen was doing good? The media isn't allowed at practice. Steve marriucci said at ua game last year that olsen was very good and he was accurate and could make all the throws. I heard morris say during the summer that olsen looked good and he was very talented. No one heard of manziel before the season started. Hundley, mariota, and hogan played well too.

I'm really sorry. This is not a rival hate. I think Winston hype is quite premature. He had an amazing start to the season but he has nowhere to go but down from here on in. The thing that would worry me if I was a FSU fan is his slow wind up to throw.....reminds me of Byron Leftwich. Right now he is playing with no fear and letting it rip. I'm sure Golden and No D are putting some special looks in there for him. And I would take our secondary over Clemson's and every other team he faced. Can we get pressure on him is the key.

As for Olsen he is gonna be a good QB imo no way for u guys to know what's going on in practice for real. He will have a good situation to play in whether its next year or the next. The jump kids make after being redshirted is always huge. They get mentally ready before taking the physical beating. You may see a more efficient offense with him than ever was with Morris. More sustained drives

I'm serious. The pedestal they have put him on reminds me of Jacory. Not saying he is gonna be like that. But who can forget Logan Thomas being touted as a top 5 QB.....now he can't hit Jesus.....and he is everywhere. Smh. Winston has played some bad teams. Maryland just got hammered by Wake......his second best win. Not saying he is bad....saying its premature

For those that say Winston doesn't have a cannon, read up a little more on him. He throws a baseball in the 90s. Folks in HS said he could throw it 70 yards as a soph in HS.

Rest assured, he has a canon.

Famous ****: He has all the tools but he's still just a freshman QB, so you gotta think they've dumbed down the offense for him. Coley knows what's up. We'll be ready.

Im on record saying that Kevin Olson never starts at the university of Miami. So Im gonna say, NO, he wont be a heisman candidate next year.

But...but....but, he hasn't played a down yet. He has to be good just based on that.

On a serious note, I haven't seen anything that would make me think he is anything other than another QB prospect.

I'd be shocked if kayaa beats out Olsen if he's been in the system for 2 solid years by the time it's just him and brad battling for the nod

But I just want the best whoever it is slinging the rock

I see it going down like this:

2014 - Ryan Williams starts (and wins national championship VI - side note to this discussion :) )
2015- 2017 - Brad Kaaya starts.

It's simple math really:

Cali QBs > Nu Joisey Cue Beez

Although I am leaving open the possibility that sometime in 2017 Brad Kaaya injures his leg on tight end around, reverse pass back to the QB, so Kaaya can get extra heisman exposure. Olson will then come off the bench and light it up giving the ginzo set around here all the ammo they need to say that Olson should have been starting the whole time.

I'll say there's a 1% chance of that happening. He won't even be the starter next year.

FSU hit the Lotto. Guys like Jemima come around once in a blue moon, and, when they do, they can change an entire program while they're there.

I thought Coker is starting for us next year when he graduates and comes to play for Coley.
