2027 Kevin "KJ" Caldwell 4* Safety from Lilburn, GA (Parkview HS) Committing on April 3

We're the only team that'll **** on our own guys for making a roster while not continuously being cut. It's ok to say a guy underachieved here but let's at least pray the light turns on while in the league and he has the opportunity to

Deal.
The Leonard Taylor I was referring to was a five star recruit who underachieved here relative to that star ranking. I called him a bust toward the end of his last year with us and was attacked. After he went undrafted, I pulled receipts and called out some folks. As I mentioned earlier, it was only months before, not years. Now, my 5th grade teacher (in the early 80's) was a real ¢unt and I'm hoping your skills can help me.
While he didn't play up to his rankings, I think calling him a "bust" is too much. He had plenty of good moments. Just wasn't as consistent as we wanted. One of those kids that should have stayed another year (and may had done so if NIL were a big thing then).

Yeah "bust" might be a tad strong, but most 5 stars come with really high expectations. In his case they were not met. Your last statement I 100% agree with and it's probably why I was a tad harsh on him.

right! he made it and doing something latte!

it was suppose to be a question.. but he still in the NFL .. you sound like you hating ..
You’re probably right. More disappointment than hate. I don’t know this for fact, but I think he’s a dude with loads of talent who didn’t want to work at an elite level and as a result underachieved. Does that make Leonard a bad dude? No of course not. Could I be totally wrong? Sure but there were enough hints and comments while he was here that I doubt I’m far off. That’s it. Nothing more.

- LT was a bust, but he was also failed here IMO. (Given no competition, forced to play due to lack of depth, out of position).

Both things can be true

I'm not sure he was a complete bust?

Kid was an above average DT, disappointing junior year when we expected him to take the next step.

Not a star so I get it disappointing, but I guess it's how we define the word bust.

We are overthinking this here, he was a complete bust given his ranking. If he wasn’t a bust then we are really in space where barely anyone qualifies as a bust. Now what @htownkidd said is right, we failed him at the same time and we are seeing that with his play in the league but he was still a bust as a Hurricane.

Nah I've seen way way worse lol… A bust is 4* too 100-200 kids who do NOTHING their whole careers.

Again I can see your arguement though. Taylor gave us some good football though, although not what a lot of us expected, especially after he had a good sophomore year.
