2027 Kevin "KJ" Caldwell 4* Safety from Lilburn, GA (Parkview HS) Committing on April 3

Lmao, ofc, just don’t use your skills against me (did you Leonard Taylor reportedly has a black belt??!?)

My biggest W on here was from defending Cristobal after the SMU loss; had to bump that thread after our playoff win :roll-canes2:

Deal.
The Leonard Taylor I was referring to was a five star recruit who underachieved here relative to that star ranking. I called him a bust toward the end of his last year with us and was attacked. After he went undrafted, I pulled receipts and called out some folks. As I mentioned earlier, it was only months before, not years. Now, my 5th grade teacher (in the early 80's) was a real ¢unt and I'm hoping your skills can help me.

I liked my 5th grade teacher. I mean, there was that rumor that she was banging the assistant principal, but all-in-all, she was pretty cool.

Don’t wanna derail the thread too much but we’re talking about the same Leonard Taylor. You might find esoteric references to the transferability of said black belt for strong hands while disengaging and engaging blocking offensive linemen.

Was one of the reasons, while not saying he was a surefire first rounder, I was pretty **** sure he was a 3&out NFL player who would get drafted in the first 120 picks or so. And be a helluva lot more productive at UMiami.

We're past the point of derailing this.... I'll own that with you.
I remember some talk of black belt with him. When I saw him getting a little PT early on, then not improving much year to year coupled with whispers of work ethic issues, I knew he was going to flop out. I didn't expect UDFA though.

Thanks for the laughs - I'm going to step off this derailed train and wait for another time to push one off the tracks.

I hope your defense of him was based on overall trajectory and other positives and not taking a knee that last regulation drive after FSU tied it. BC I don't care if we win the next 3 ships, there' no defending that lol.

@DMoney comments on the recruitment. May have a lot of Miami crystal balls, but he hasn't been hearing a lot about Caldwell from his Miami sources. However, he also mentioned he's not yet specifically asked about Caldwell. Plans on doing so now though.

I could have sworn DMoney mentioned Caldwell in the last couple Banks
