How good is this Don Bosco team? Are they like state champs every year in NJ? They seem to have some really good recruits every year

This year was a slight down year for them, but they are always a top 5 team in NJ and usually ranked nationally

Moves well for a huge kid, could be a nice LT. Can't say since the film is all DL

They are always good top kids from Northern NJ, play exceptional competition year in and year out. Excellent program for a long time.

On Sunday, the 'Canes added another piece to their 2015 class with the commitment of offensive tackle Kevin Feder.

Feder, is a six-foot-nine 285-pound standout at powerhouse Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey.

"I just got off the phone with coach Golden, coach D'Onofrio, and coach Kehoe and I told them I was going to commit to Miami and become a Hurricane," Feder told CanesInsight.com

"They were all extremely pumped up. They were all fired up," said Feder. They said it was a huge gain for the team and it really made coach Golden's day and all of the coaching staff's day."

Feder, who says his lead recruiter was defensive coordinator Mark D'Onofrio, was offered by the 'Canes at Al Golden football camp last summer and has been in constant contact with the coaches since.

"I just feel like it's a real family environment down there. Their whole coaching staff is just phenomenal," Feder said.

While coach Golden was very excited, Feder might have been even happier.

"I just feel like there program is only going up from their current standpoint. Their 2014 class is phenomenal and I think we are just going to keep building off it."

Feder describes himself as a very physical player, being that he is normally bigger than everybody on the field, he feels he can be known as a dominant player.

*Feder says he cut 20 pounds for wrestling season and normally weighs around 305 pounds.

*If you were wondering, Kevin does attend the same high school current 'Cane, Alquadin Muhammad did.
