He's not viewed as a good wr coach , and that's putting it nicely

This team needs fresh faces at every turn. Nothing against Beard but we just need to purge ourselves of any Golden leftovers. Will he be a heck of a coach down the line? Maybe, but he's not going to be the reason we turn things around next season.
 
I don't like to see the guy lose his job because he's a good Cane. But he should be a Graduate Assistant with his résumé.

you never sacrifice your season for one recruit. if hes a cane, **** stick. the entire staff needs to be purged and we need to let richt bring in his own guys.

I agree re one recruit. But KB did a heck of a job IMO. I think he's a real up and comer. His ties with Bruce are a very big bonus. Just my .02.

He did pretty good in NO. The list of WRs from Miami (96-05) is very impressive. IMO, Coker killed him.

Look at the WRs after Andre Johnson graduated. The Ryan Moore, Lance Legett, Brian Monroe the punter group towards the end. He flamed out, and was HORRIBLE at Tulane.

Folden was in full death spiral when he hired Beard. No quality accomplished WR coach was going to jump into that death spiral. Now Richt needs to clean up the mess.

Everyone need to go. U don't have the worst coaching staff in history and leave some of it. That **** was an infection and yesterday was prime example. These kids needs change. The program need change. Richt knows how to win

I totally agree. Hate to see a Cane get canned but he needs more seasoning. Hopefully he gets that experience, becomes his own man as a coach , and never pulls that ridiculousness again that he pulled in that video clip snapping at Hurlie because he knew NoD agreed with him.
 
Kevin Beard is a true Cane, good luck to you Kevin. It's part of the business. Put in the work and give Richt a reason to bring you back.
