Kevaughn Dingle update

Miami wide receiver commit Kevaughn Dingle told CanesInSight.com that he has yet to set up an in-home visit with Miami. Dingle added that Canes coaches have not contacted him recently either.

Miami has Evidence Njoku committed at wide receiver, and they are heavily recruiting Mike Harley, Devonta Smith, and Jeremiah Holloman.

The situation with Dingle will be one to track, but signs are showing that he might not be in the class for much longer.

No issues with dropping the kid if thats what staff wants to do. But for gawdz sake let the kid know.

It's how recruiting works.

That's why I don't get at kids who play games with coaches....just look how they treat the kids

nah dawg. whats that

Don't complain when kids play games. This staff takes commitments and puts recruits on ice when they feel like it. Richt contradicting himself.

Also, what an awful miscalculation this WR recruiting cycle to take commitments from Rodney Scott and Kevaughn Dingle, to then work hard at having them decommit.

True. Also don't drop kids if you don't have a kid committed to replace him.
I've seen this movie before...the one we drop or don't recruit tge local kid chasing national guys we don't end up getting.

I have no issues dropping the kid. NONE. It just seems crazy to paint the caring coach picture and not have decency to tell a kid he isn't in the plans . . . well thankfully Richt has a long history of doing it right. I doubt Richt hasn't informed Dingle he isn't in their plans.

So were just all *********ing mentally, hypothetically speaking!

This staff has many guys who have done well in recruiting and developing players so I trust they know what they're doing especially when they'renot ashowing the interest so they must have other guys in play. Seriously this is a legit coaching staff they wouldn't so this unless they're confident or almost arrogant that they have guys coming

With the room we have now, finally getting 85 players would be awesome. Why not stay on him? Not like some kids won't flip out of this class once crootin gets to 100%

Wow, with friends like the porsters here, who needs enemies? How do you know the kid has the grades? How do you know he hasnt already been told but is not going to admit it publicly? How do you know if there is anything dark in his background?

So maybe the kid is right and we are ignoring him, or maybe.....

I will say this and I'm clueless on this but if the biggest threat to us is Illinois which is who I see shoeing him the most love yet he's all in to be here yet the coaches haven't hit him up at all it really isn't crazy to think that maybe he was told he wasn't going to be in this class and Dingle doesn't want to look bad and them go to a garbage program like Illinois

Keep cutting players with no one to immediately replace them. WHY? plus you run the risk of upsetting other players from his school we may want to recruit.

Other kids in Dade see us treating this kid badly and remember that later on down the road. Leaves a bad taste in coaches mouth makes them do to us what Dwyer coach does tell his kids to never trust Miami. It's a school full of LIARS and people who don't keep there word.
