Keon Keeley to the portal

What part of “he was LT Overtons back up” is hard for you to comprehend??
Keep moving the goalposts.

First you compared him to Lightfoot who is a situational 3rd down pass rusher as if that was some gotcha moment - it is not.

Then you said he wasn't a DE and I posted today's 247 article which obviously proves you wrong.

He was third string as a 2023 recruit (3 yrs on the team) yet you ran the mouth you suck your boyfriends **** with like you knew better.

There’s no goal posts being moved. It’s even in my original rebuttal to you. Man had 3 sacks as a rotational lineman which would be 4th on our team from the linemen group. Thats a fact.

Go be butthurt somewhere else.

That’s like saying Lightfoot barely played. Some of you really should refrain from sharing your opinions.
Keeley played 167 snaps, 100 of which were pass rush snaps. He generated 9 pressures, 3 sacks, and 4 hurries. A PassRushProductivity rate of 6.4%, a WinRate of 2.1%, Had a 54.5 Pass Rush Grade. And in true Pass Rush Sets he had a grade of 50.9 (lowest among any player receiving Edge snaps for Miami or Bama) with a WinRate of 2.6%.

Lightfoot played 265 snaps, 150 of which were pass rush snaps. He generated 27 pressures, 3 sacks, and 16 hurries. A PassRushProductivity rate of 10.0%, a WinRate of 15.9%, Had a 72.0 Pass Rush Grade. and in true pass rush sets he had a grade of 75.0 (only behind Bain and Mesidor among any player reciving edge snaps for Miami or Bama) with a WinRate of 23.5%

... So don't just look at sack numbers lol

After year 2 start rankings and "potential" out of HS are irrelevant. What have you done on the field?
The portal isn't where you hunt for potential among unproven players.

Erring on the side of potential among proven players? Sure.

I really do appreciate so many of your numbers posts. Thank you.

He gained too much weight. He looked like a DT playing DE. Zero development at Bama they’re on son Dno ish

I can rattle off a bunch honestly

I think Cole is gonna have a good year next year if he sticks around. Injuries really cost him
Plenty of opportunity for Cole to get some playing time. Might not have crazy bend, but he’s always showed to be stout in the run.

He was the #1 player at his position in his class. He has to put it nicely, been underwhelming. In saying that, im always amazed that yall never learn, you pull up stat sheets, yup, guy a beast or guy suck. Without any context or anything. Some of these players are being used in bad roles. Look at Keionte Scott and others we have brought in. Pretty sure few of you were jumping for joy.

They are not perfect but if the staff do their evals and have a role they think he can fit, then they kinda earned some leeway to do that. Him gaining 35 pounds to fit a role sound like some Al Golden No D type stuff. Pretty sure if he comes here that would be their first thing, is to shed that, lean him up and get him strong.
