Kenneth Walker iii

Was that the guy Gurvan Hall was trying to tackle when he took out our own guy?

Nah, that was a wide receiver screen. Believe the block was being thrown by Jayden Reed, who is playing for the Packers. That's who ole Gurv decided to "tackle" instead of the ball carrier.

Walker did tear us a new *** in that game though, he had over 170 yards.

Crazy how many good players that Michigan State offense had.

Payton Thorne was the QB, who was a pretty decent college player.
Ken Walker as mentioned, ramrodded us and was just Super Bowl MVP
Jayden Reed is a very good NFL WR, just can't stay healthy, but was a 2nd round pick.
Jalen Nailor is the WR3 for the Vikings, has played in every game the last 2 years.
Connor Heyward was their TE, he's played in every single game for 4 years for the Steelers

Meanwhile, besides Will Mallory, I don't think a single kid we had on our offense has played a lick in the league. King, Cam'Ron Harris, Harley, Rambo, Brinson, Wiggins, Keyshawn Smiff....

Walker was on that Michigan State team with all those transfers that went 11-2 in 2021 and got Mel a huge contract extension. They haven’t won’t 20 games total since then. Prime example that sometimes it just all comes together for a season, but that’s it.

For another example, see FSU with Norvell.

Is the exact type of rb we need. D$ likes big north south tackle breaking power backs. I like a complete rb who is not small but not big. 205-215 lb range that can avoid break a tackle but has that explosiveness to maximize every inch of space they get.
