2026 Kenneth Goodwin III 3* LB from Edison (via Vegas and LA (Bishop Montgomery))

Kenneth Goodwin had offers from all the big schools (UGA, Michigan, Oregon, TAMU etc.) but picked SMU. At some point, he moved from LA/Vegas to South Florida and plays at Edison. During his senior year, 247/On3 have dropped him from a 4* to a 3* but Gaby says he's a late rising name that we should monitor. No indication of a UM name at this point.

Played the first 3 games at Edison on the West Coast then relocated to Edison after Bishop Montgomery canceled its 2025 season.


No Edison film at this point. I'm guessing that the cross country relocation and lack of senior film caused the services drop him.

Now this is an interesting twist to recruit/concentrate on players who have great senior years. Not able to play his senior year because the team cancelled its season. There clearly is a lot more going on behind the scenes in this story and if Mario is sniffing around late its an interesting recruitment.

Worth noting I didn't see junior tape…There is sophomore tape. Then 3 games early season for Edison, then a couple highlights form Edison's playoff game last week. They play Chaminade tagain his week so that will be a good test for him.
