Kendrick Norton

Nee just crystalballed him to Miami. heck, i'll take it.
Norton took florida out of his top 5 as well. If we land him Calloway, Marcus lewis, keep Scarlett, I'd be ok with that. I hope we get green and Arden key. I seen key play live at a passing league at my alma mater highschool and he is an elite pass rusher.

Kendrick Norton has a new Top5 of

Michigan - has a tight numbers issue for this class an may recruit him for buzz ( which Norton LOVES attention), but will focus on getting back into pulling in local midwest kids especially for Harbraughs first class. So I expect them to flip DT Alabi from OSU and go balls to the wall for DT Terry Beckner Jr from East St. Louis.

UNC - he would be nuts to choose them over Miami.

Miami- best option for Norton and UM will use him 100% on defense, which is what he wants.

UCLA - to get Buzz and a free trip out west, not to mention he isn't an ideal fit for UCLA's 1 gap 4-2-5 defensive system but they most likely want him as an OG an are recruiting him as both but will flip him once he arrives. So this is just more attention and a free trip for him.

Here is link to Article about UCLA's defensive philosophy
http://www.ocregister.com/articles/ulbrich-646348-defense-ucla.html

Ole Miss - see UCLA

Based on that list I can see why he was crystal balled to Miami.

Go Canes

Ucla base defense is a 3-4.

Did you read the article? It clearly states UCLA runs a 40 front.

So here is a video of him talking about what's in the article. But lets not hijack this thread it should be focused on DT Kendrick Norton.

Didn't read don't have to. They run the 3-4 but started using the 4-2-5 more exclusively early in the season because of the type offenses in the pac 12.

where do we stand with key? haven't seen much but the highlight's I've watched...def looks like he has a lot of talent/potential, but might need 1-2 yrs to get strong enough. He looks light. Not an indictment of his potential, just might take a little bit to realize it fully.
