Kendrick Norton tweet

they both got drafted in sorry rounds. This isn't a 1st rounder versus a fifth or even a 3rd vs a 7th.
you want to debate on this when they both got drafted late af and both fit a respective teams need.

Norton>Mcintosh still.

But if you want to argue semantics. You win Perp.
Technically Correct.

The best kind of correct.

**** that concerned bs.. Chad Thomas is a beast, they were more worried about this bs about him being focused more on music. Either way it's a steal.. 3rd round money aint nothing to sleep on so i know he good, but he'll out play his draft pick just like most UM players.

He was the first unathletic DE drafted.

If you look at the draft, and previous drafts, ends like Chad Thomas - not really superior athletes, not super productive - are taken starting in the 4th round...

So, I don't know about you or anyone else on this forum, but Chad Thomas was drafted in a fine, respectable place...maybe even over drafted considering. He'd have to become a really productive sack artist (8+ type) to outperform draft slot...not sure he'll be that...but I don't think he'll have himself a nice long career if he wants it.

LOL! You are the one who is clueless and if you think you know better than NFL GMs then you are an even bigger moron than I thought. You overate every UM player and then get surprised when they don't get drafted how you expected them to.
everyone is sean taylor and ray lewis to him, i doubt he watches any other game.

we will find out if hes a beast, if hes an all pro yearly then u right if not then he is what he is. And what UM players are out playing there stock maybe like a handful thats it. We dont send that caliber of player to theleague anymore cause of bama fsu uf and the SEC. What all pros we have? how many kids we sent to the nfl within the last 10 years maybe a 65-100.....how many were the best at there position like butchs teams. Hurns maybe our best player right now unless Im missing someone,

Exactly. He probably never watched an NFL game or any other team and just assumes our players are the most elite because they are way better than the high school highlight tapes hes seen of other players.

What are you saying?

LMAO digging up some old bones here.

TBH, everyone got drafted right around where I thought they'd go besides Norton. I didn't think he would fall to the 7th.

And FYI Miami is #6 in the country in draft picks the last 5 years(and that’s in our down years) wait until we get the talent we are supposed to have in at Miami like we did the last 3 classes.
Brandon Linder, Oliver vernon, Calais Campbell , Denzel Perryman , greg Olsen, jimmy graham, duke Johnson, Lamar miller and a couple more are better than Hurns

Yea but that list isnt the same quality of player we used to send....u get me? Whwn we were beastly recruiting we were sending hall of famers to the league. Yea we send guys to the league but not the same monsters because those monsters are putting on different jerseys in college. Also we arent as good as identifying those monsters anymore.

Calais campbell is a top 3 dlineman in football, greg Olsen and jimmy graham top 5 tight ends, Olivier vernon top 10 dlineman(85 million dollar contract. Brandon Linder top 3 center in the game.Duke Johnson is one of the top overall all purpose running backs. Lamar miller is one of 4 running backs in the last 4 years to have over 1000 yards total in each of the last 4 seasons(frank gore is one of those 4 too). Allen Hurns is a very solid pro. Denzel perryman is really good. Olsen pierre outperformed 1st round draft pick nkemdiche for Arizona and led their interior guys in sacks. Adrian Colbert and David njoku has promising rookie years. Travis Benjamin is very solid at what he does. And the list goes on. Miami is just starting to get more talent so we will have more players go into the league. A list came out recently that had Miami with the most players out of any school in terms of the top 200 salaries in the nfl. So that says a lot too

I disagree we dont put the same caliber player in the league, the guys u mentioned are good though I wont front but we were so good we sent super stars to the league. We have to do a better job identifying and locking them up but I see your point I just dont think its the same quality of player.

Let's be honest for a minute....we are not sending out the same caliber of players as before.:
-J Brown (R.I.P) DOMINATED when he came in the league.
-Playmaker, DOMINATED when he came in the league.
-Warren Sapp DOMINATED.
-Ray Lewis DOMINATED.
-Dan Morgan DOMINATED (prior to the injuries and still holds the SB record for most tackles in a single game).
-Ryan McNeil shut down his side of field.
-Bubba Franks-DOMINATED
-Jeremy Shockey DOMINATED when he first pulled up (prior to the injuries)
-J Vilma DOMINATED (and got hella snubbed from many pro-bowls).
-Portis DOMINATED (and got snubbed from many pro-bowls too).
-E Reed DOMINATED.
-Sean T F'N DOMINATED (R.I.P)
-Dre DOMMMMMINATED

I mean I can go on and on. The players we've sent now have been good, hella good, but not at the caliber we infested the league w/ from the 80's to the mid 2000's. We sent HOFers/Pro-bowlers consistently to the league. The guys that rep the U now are going to get paid, they've out performed contracts, but man we killed the league from the 80's until about 2005.

Incredible run for sure but we are on pace with other programs now even if it’s not what we used to be. Still pumping out guys regardless

No doubt. We're still producing at a low bust rate. I still have hope for Flowers since he will be moved to his natural position at RT. Our future is bright, for sure.

we have had a develop problem for a LONG time. Our new coaches actually develop talent well, I think we are close to getting back to the point where we send studs into the league again, no way we are there yet.

BTW, your list doesnt include Reggie Wayne, Devin Hester, Willis McGahee, Frank Gore, etc. im so excited for the future though.
