Mario is a real astute dude who’s perceived as a brute; rightfully so, but he is a deep detailed oriented thinker. He is wittier than I’d expected too. That 💩 had me cracking up cuz he knew exactly what he was doing it. Feel like JJ ends up being our nickel

Yeah, i don’t think it’s a permanent thing. We have seen pushback with even Jim Phillips stepping in so Chad Morris’ son doesn’t get a 7th year.

Toure is a wild case kinda similar to McCormick. I don’t want it go on & on to universalize it but I’d be a hypocrite to act like i didn’t enjoy the benefits we reaped from it. Like we kinda need Ryan Rodriguez at center this year like we needed Meisdor at edge. Injuries suck; most guys don’t have the will to bounce back better from so many tbh

No post spring portal is a big benefit to the sport’s landscape because it forces the coaches to reinvest in their players and i think that’ll have an effect on retention & how the fans feel too. Prior to that, i agree, it was dizzying. It took me a long ahh minute to realize who was who in the secondary

What i feel like is implicit in Mario’s criticism is that he feels Bonner/Wiley/Pruitt are more talented that the super seniors so he is giving them the opportunity now rather than later to take their spot

Played in 3 games on defense. This is 100%
However PFF has him as playing ST in 9 games. This could be slightly wrong... but don't think anyone else wore #30

So most likely if he was playing ST, he did not redshirt

I don’t think he’ll fully praise you unless your approach is in order on and off the field, but especially off the field

You need linebackers on special teams…He's a runner and a hitter

There's really not that many players that redshirt nowadays especially athletic freak types like Wiley who are already in that 230-240 range. And if there were LB injuries last year he would have had to play because Bonner was hurt a good bit of the year.

Nate was definitely the more highly thought of player by fans as a junior. He was more explosive and **** sure more crazy, but Morgan was more steady, consistent and disciplined. I personally think that Barrow and Lewis were better than Dan, although I wouldn’t argue with anyone that sees no. 44 as their GOAT. His senior year was one for the all time ages.

Different in a game but to burn it on special teams is dumb idc how you spin it . This past year most of our kick offs were touch backs.

If this cat is who we think he is / can be, he won't be here in 5 years anyway. Stinks to burn a redshirt, but more than worth it to keep a potential stud happy, especially if you think he is 3 or 4 and gone, regardless. IMO

Okay makes sense. Saw both of them flash in the short clips that were put out. Specifically on Marcelin in that clip of him on Lyle. He didn’t make the play, but I doubt that gained more than 3 yards after the swarming

Just the option to Play and i don’t think eveyone under nil will leave early .
