Manny needs to convince Fedora to take the gig.

He is the only dude available that can right this ship in enough time to save Manny's job.

Heckendorf, Lashlee, etc. would get eaten alive by our roster.

If the goal is to get Manure out of here as quickly as possible he’d work perfectly. Kind of a win win.

If he’s as good as LCE thinks he is, then we will have a great offense and likely win a few more games. If he’s as mediocre as I and the UNC fans and UNC players that he coached thinks he is, then he’ll be the final nail in Manure’s coffin.

Your opinion on his body of work is misguided, friend. Look at the list I provided of great offensive minds he’s worked under. Then watch the bowl game to see how he dialed stuff up.
 
If you guys think a dude like Heckendorf can deal with EGOmanaics like Martell, Perry, Wiliams, Pope, Harley, etc. I have a bridge to sell you.

These kids are constantly threatening to transfer if they don't get the playing time they deserve.

We need an OC to come in and clean house. A dude like Peckendorf ain't that guy.

I’m not sure Lashlee called plays until this year, but he did a **** of a job at SMU. Frankly, either of these guys - along w Johns, Yost, etc - are great imo. Balanced spread, uptempo, etc.

When their starting QB misses curfew and likes to spend all night playing call of duty, how will they handle?

Enos had 5 years of head coaching experience and could not get our guys in line.

Look at what Briles did at FSU....nothing.

Problems are institutional that require a nuclear reboot.

Our offensive players know Manny is a softee and they can get away with anything. The Jeff Thomas decision made that apparent.

When his name started bouncing around I just hadn't seen anything that showed he had any really originality to his offense. It just kinda seemed he was just another good enough OC. But in that bowl game you could see the plays being called were strategic and adjustments were being made. That's my measure of a good leader. Like Tyson said, "Everybody's got a plan until they get hit", it's the adjustments that are the X factor. Johns showed that even though they lost.

ive watched several games. Too many things concern me about this guy beyond what I’ve seen on film.

They put up a valiant fight against a team full of guys they could never get to come to Memphis. The talent disparity in that game in favor of Ped State was similar to us against La Tech.

Hilarious to see people coming at me on Heckendorf as if he's the only OC I put in my OC Candidates thread.

I listed Lashlee & Kevin Johns & about 4 or 5 others... "LCE is wrong!" Lol, let's see Miami run that Offense & we'll see how wrong I am.

Heckendorf is a very good up & coming OC, has developed QB's both at UNC & at Ark St & had Ark St WR's among the tops in the nation in multiple categories despite none of them being 4-star caliber players coming out HS.
