Why?
Has never been on his own.
Would not be able to handle the current chemistry and egos on our offense.
Why?
Go watch the bowl game. Tell me he doesn’t know how to call plays. He’s called plays plenty.Wasn't Norvell calling the plays for Memphis this year? Also when was the last time John's was a play caller? He didn't call plays in 2018 either.
Good move. Interacting with Chise can boost your profile significantly in Androol’s shmegma-dripping eyes.I was of the opinion that Johns didn't have a body of experience to justify considering him to be as good as portrayed.
I was impressed with his offense in that game. I can't say he's my top choice, but I wouldn't be upset if they got him.
If the goal is to get Manure out of here as quickly as possible he’d work perfectly. Kind of a win win.Heckendorf would not work here.
Your opinion on his body of work is misguided, friend. Look at the list I provided of great offensive minds he’s worked under. Then watch the bowl game to see how he dialed stuff up.I was of the opinion that Johns didn't have a body of experience to justify considering him to be as good as portrayed.

Manny needs to convince Fedora to take the gig.
He is the only dude available that can right this ship in enough time to save Manny's job.
Heckendorf, Lashlee, etc. would get eaten alive by our roster.
When his name started bouncing around I just hadn't seen anything that showed he had any really originality to his offense. It just kinda seemed he was just another good enough OC. But in that bowl game you could see the plays being called were strategic and adjustments were being made. That's my measure of a good leader. Like Tyson said, "Everybody's got a plan until they get hit", it's the adjustments that are the X factor. Johns showed that even though they lost.Your opinion on his body of work is misguided, friend. Look at the list I provided of great offensive minds he’s worked under. Because franchise said so? Or because you’ve watched multiple Ark State games like me and liberty have?
You don’t come off as that type.
They put up a valiant fight against a team full of guys they could never get to come to Memphis. The talent disparity in that game in favor of Ped State was similar to us against La Tech. When his name started bouncing around I just hadn't seen anything that showed he had any really originality to his offense. LCE schools yall but I hate the fact he constantly has to explain ****.Yes he is & yes it is.
Heckendorf is a very good up & coming OC, has developed QB's both at UNC & at Ark St & had Ark St WR's among the tops in the nation in multiple categories despite none of them being 4-star caliber players coming out HS.
Do research my friend, it'll save yourself some worry.
It's just one game though. Every play caller at Memphis seems to have success there. It's a easy job.Go watch the bowl game. Tell me he doesn’t know how to call plays. He’s called plays plenty.
These people don’t know football.Hilarious to see people coming at me on Heckendorf as if he's the only OC I put in my OC Candidates thread.
I listed Lashlee & Kevin Johns & about 4 or 5 others... "LCE is wrong!" Lol, let's see Miami run that Offense & we'll see how wrong I am.
