Keith Heckendorf?

Yes he is & yes it is.

Heckendorf is a very good up & coming OC, has developed QB's both at UNC & at Ark St & had Ark St WR's among the tops in the nation in multiple categories despite none of them being 4-star caliber players coming out HS.

Do research my friend, it'll save yourself some worry.

how will he do when forced to deal with our 4 star divas?

Really good X's & O's guru that manufactured high productivity with low ranked talent.
That sounds like the anti-Enos, I’m good with that.
Anyone that runs a true spread with spacing and tempo, I’m good with right now.
I don’t care what his name is or where he came from at this point. I just don’t want to go another season and watch the Miami Bro-offense another season. Happy New Years

I saw a PT Cruiser with Arkansas plates at a Miami-area real estate office
Have y'all not seen the new Canes Cartel amphibious vehicle bringing in our new Offensive staff?

I’m with you all the way on this. At least if Manure hires ****endork he’ll be gone next year.

People are giving too much credit to ****endork and even Fedora for the couple really good years of offense at UNC. Best offense they had by far was under Seth Littrell. After he left, it pretty quickly went down the toilet.

****endork also did a horrible job evaluating/recruiting QBs at UNC. His offense at Arkansas State this year suffered from a lot of the same ailments ours did—lots of sacks; poor rushing; bad redzone; bad 3rd down.

Translation: Sounds like the exact kind of guy Manure will hire.

this. Unfortunately @Liberty City El is way wrong on this guy.

Can this guy save Manny? All I know about him is he worked with a very experienced LF in NC. Will his offense change the direction or will the team keep doing an about face on the coaching staff?
If the team has given up on Manny ( obviously IMO) is any single coach going to reel them back?

My concern about Heckendorf is that he has only worked underneath Larry Fedora and Blake Anderson, two head coaches with an offensive background and ran their scheme.

He will be on his own under Manny running the entire offense. Lofty task for a guy to be on his own and have to deal with the massive ego's on this team.

Too risky of a hire.

Has Matt Lubick's name come up?

Because franchise said so? Or because you’ve watched multiple Ark State games like me and liberty have?

You don’t come off as that type.

I have watched many of the Ark State games...he's not my fave, I prefer Lashlee or Kevin John's but I would be OK with him...my bigger concern would be remainder of staff..too often we hire someone we think is good but fill out remaining staff with ham sandwiches.

LOL at coming at The Legend on colleges football. Brother, I am a college football encyclopedia.

Refute those facts on Heckendorf, friend. LCE is quality through and through, but you guys are building him up to the point of infallibility on anything football-related because he does some good research. He’s wrong about this Heckendorf dude being some wunderkind.

Heckendorf was the OC for a year at Arkansas State. How many Arkansas State games did you guys watch this year? If you watched many, you’d realize the offense was just about the same as last year when Blake was trying to call plays while his wife was dying. They had 3 WRS with a ton of catches before Heckendorf just like they did with Heckendorf this year.

Johns is a MUCH better option. Did you watch the bowl game against a much more talented Ped State team? That offense was humming. It’s a very diverse spread that runs the ball well but also challenges vertically in the throw game.

Johns also had experience under Kevin Wilson, who is a master in the spread run game. I like to see a coach who has picked things up from a bunch of really good minds, and Johns has worked with Wilson, Kingsbury, Norvell, and Tim Lester, who has actually had some nice offenses at Western Michigan.

Wasn't Norvell calling the plays for Memphis this year? Also when was the last time John's was a play caller? He didn't call plays in 2018 either.

The only successful OC's at Miami during my lifetime have been....

Gary Stevens
Larry Coker
Rob Chudzinski

One of these young spread guys would get eaten alive by the egos on this roster.

I was of the opinion that Johns didn't have a body of experience to justify considering him to be as good as portrayed.

I was impressed with his offense in that game. I can't say he's my top choice, but I wouldn't be upset if they got him.
