2026 Keisean Henderson 5* QB/ATH from Spring, TX

Well wiegman would be a moron to return without the starting job guaranteed.
Henderson imo isn't making a bad move to sit a yr, I'm just surprised Houston can afford to pay him to sit a year. It's certainly not a logical use of money for a program at Houstons level to have a high paid QB on the bench

They will/should be creating subpackages for him throughout the year to stay engaged/get playing time. Weigman is solid but not good enough to keep him on the bench if he is ready towards the middle/end of the season

It's a school in Texas.
Houston, no less.
They have money.

Yeah, you don’t know who their top booster is lol.

That’s not what I’m saying though, are they literally gunna be spending all over the rest of the roster with legit players? If not and they arent spending to be a cfp contender then what’s the point letting at least like 10-15% of your total nil funds to go to a guy not playing? Dumb. Who could they have instead of Weigman? They could likely add a top WR and DLineman for that money and just roll with Henderson. Why did they just rank 42nd in recruiting? Thats the point. Imagine that $1-2M on Weigman going to make your HS recruiting top 25 instead of fringe top 40…
