has been a difference maker especially during our difficult run to the final game. I assume Bryce Fitzgerald was his sub and he wasn't at the level Scott was playing at. Scott was reminiscent of some of our great Safeties...we will never know.
Kinda late to be mentioning this but I still can't believe we beat A&M, OSU, and Ole Miss and lost to Indiana especially since Fletcher, Toney, Bain and Mesidor played a great game.
In my opinion Carson Beck was a bust and our talent overrode his lack of performance in all of our wins. He never lead us to an easy victory, it seemed every game we scored just enough to win due to offense and Beck errors. He tempted fate one too many times. The fact anyone considers him an NFL talent is hard to believe.

Beck absolutely won us the ole miss game consistent throughout and game winning drive where he made strike after strike. I dont See how anyone can dispute that in that game even with our defense leaking in the second half our offense responded , played okay in the national championship game outside of the int and threw or ran for a bunch of 3rd downs against the vaunted Ohio state defense. He was better than a lot on here are trying to not credit him for. That’s not cool


And in regards to Bryce when he played Nickel for Keionte he was very active vs Va tech and Pitt. Was very active in the pass rushing game element that Keionte brought and of course did his thing coverage wise plus he tackled very well in that role actually

Thornton will play S and Nickel. Playing nickel you need to tackle well and be smart which fits Thornton. Fitzgerald isn’t the most physical guy and is a great deep centerfield guy so FS is his spot . You don’t mess with that.

So do you see poyser playing SS? Id assume poyser and Fitzgerald will start at S and thornton at NB right?
