We don’t NEED him to beat NC state. Pitt & Beyond yes we will undoubtedly need himRight. Cool. We don’t need our best players

This makes all the sense. Assuming it is the case, you think a combination of Fitz/Day/Thomas or you think it makes sense to rotate in one of the extra corners at safety?Zech Poyser
Needs to be Damari we don’t have the luxury to preserve anything one need all hands on deckI feel like it’s gonna be Lucas or Damari. Would probably make sense if it was Dylan Day to preserve some of that CB depth.
Never any doubt.Bad news about Miami tends to be true.
This is an elimination game. There is zero consideration to be given to preservation of depth.I feel like it’s gonna be Lucas or Damari. Would probably make sense if it was Dylan Day to preserve some of that CB depth.
Is Brantley being saved for 2026? I know he’s a senior but does he have another year if he doesn’t play 4? Because wasn’t he supposed to be a very good nickel? This is an elimination game. There is zero consideration to be given to preservation of depth.
The staff and players must leave everything on the field in this game. You do whatever it takes to win.
Pics or GTFOBetter than a high camel toe sprain. Those are devastating.
I guess we can assume....

If I recall correctly, they were definitely playing him at nickel in the spring but there were questions about nickel being his best fit or not. Hindsight would suggest that he was playing nickel because he was passed up on the outside (he hasn't gotten much time out there) and then they went and got another nickel in the spring portal, so maybe they weren't happy with him in the nickel either. Is Brantley being saved for 2026? Which one though?Since no one has had the wit to suggest it, I will: Play Nickel at Nickel
Big nickel is out injured. We don't have a dime of available nickels left sirWhich one though?
I guess, my point wasn’t to sacrifice performance for preservation of depth. Hope the staff makes the right decision. This is an elimination game. There is zero consideration to be given to preservation of depth.

Have you watched this team for the last 20+ years?I love how this fanbase s**** it's pants playing ACC teams that are 5-4 that lost to Duke, Va Tech, and Pitt, beat East Carolina by 7, beat UVA by 4, and got throttled by Notre Dame.
They played one game that was impressive and in that game GT punted once.
Just play whomever you think will do the best job there (am assuming this is not Isiah Taylor, no disrespect). If it's Poyser we probably see some drop-off in the run game with Fitz at safety. If it's one of our 3 healthy corners, we probably will see a drop off when/if we rotate Antoine/Brantley in as 3rd corner. It's not ideal - especially with OJ out limiting what we have at corner - but between Poyser/a corner we have options. Just get it done and win the game.I guess, my point wasn’t to sacrifice performance for preservation of depth. Hope the staff makes the right decision.
