Just put in Lofton obviously
Why would we put another DT on the field?
Just put in Lofton obviously
Lesson I learned thru trial and error.what’s sad is that even the most fervent Mario despiser can see right through your putrid attempt to galvanize support or credibility
I'm pretty sure OJ is out for the year and so is Fletcher...He’s played about 99% of the snaps at his spot. Pretty sure he was even in on the last drive of the Syracuse game. None of those kids play his position. One of them is likely going to have to. But we need OJ fully healthy immediately because we likely have to move one of the 4 corners to nickel now to replace him and we need the other 3 to actually play corner. This is probably the 3rd best player on the entire team along with Bain and Toney and the only one who really doesn’t have a backup.
No way to sugarcoat it, this is a massive, massive loss. I don’t think the defense falls off a cliff or anything, we should still be very good but this kid was literally playing just about every play and he was doing it at an all-conference type level. Heatherman has to make some real moves now. And a legitimate offense is coming to town in 4 days.
What about Brantley? Can he be counted on for some snaps?O’Connor is our best bet. He can cover. He’s aggressive. He can tackle. But, this leaves Lucas and Brown taking nearly 100% of the reps at corner. Not ideal.
Can he cover a speed out from the bunch formation?I heard Lofton could be the best player on defense if he wasn’t having such an impact on offense.
Your guess is as good as mine. For each replacement, we can talk about how they fail to do what Scott did. Thomas just doesn’t have the hips, for example. Pruitt doesn’t have the range. If I were the opponent and we threw a Safety in there to replace Scott, I’d flash a ton of 2 by 2 at us and force our Safeties into a bunch of man coverage on inside WRs. It’s a college season and nothing is perfect, so bottom line is we stand to lose a bunch from this injury. Not the least of which it further exposes our LBs. If I had to guess and not know anything they’re thinking inside the Hecht, I’d probably say Richard or Damari would be chosen to grab the majority of the snaps.Honestly It'll probably be Dylan Day or just one of Poyser/Thomas tbh. Day has gotten a decent amount of PT so far. Isaiah Taylor has been Scotts replacement who is obviously more of a safety. So I'd think that is more the route they'd go over more CB. So I could see them just opting for Fitzgerald to be in the game a lot more as the FS and dropping one of the safeties to nickel...
That would be my move. Has some flaws, but gives us the quicks I think Hetherman needs in there. What about Brantley? Can he be counted on for some snaps?
Nope … just the typical calling for Noah’s arc at the first sign of a rain cloud. Overreaction at its finest.Sooo any actual news or from TrumpyCane's experience typical CIS ****show?
You're not wrong and I'm too lazy to run the analysis, but I feel like these rumors end up being more times true rather than false.Nope … just the typical calling for Noah’s arc at the first sign of a rain cloud. Overreaction at its finest.

I can tell reading comprehension isn’t a strong suit either. It’s alright you’ll make itI hate math.... I REALLY DO..... but THIS math right here just isn't mathing for me.
Is Day’s dad a HOFer on staff?Dylan Day should take those reps before Taylor.

100 percent, just need to play him. Has the best tape and was a superstar at Michigan state. Im still shocked how far he is down on the depth chart. Kid makes playsWhat about Brantley? Can he be counted on for some snaps?
