Keiontae Scott first two game cutup

His aggressiveness has been noticeable and impactful. He’s perfect for the slot corner as he is quick enough to change direction with the slot WR, and strong enough to beat their 1 on 1 blocks. And he’s a good tackler. We need a player like this every year.

He just has to be careful about being drawn up too quickly as once each game he let someone get behind. Or maybe you have to live with a few mistakes when you have someone who plays with this much aggression.

Huge pickup. Can't imagine where we'd be without him.
Dare I say it? 1-1

Quietly (maybe not so much anymore) looking like a huge pickup. Sticky coverage, solid run support, good timing on blitzes. Last year's team would have run the table in the regular season with him on the roster.
Maintaining containment. Haven’t seen that enough for a while.

Bain and Mesidor have highlighted the defense but this kid deserves mention as being in the top 2 as far as impact players on defense.

His role is gonna be huge the next 3 games as I suspect he's gonna be instrumental in being near the LOS and keeping an eye on the QBs.

yeah I think it is something you just live with. Also this could make perfect sense on why he struggled as an outside CB when they moved him there at Auburn. His eyes are always in the backfield, when you are on the outside by yourself that leads to some big plays, I feel like in the slot you can sometimes get away with it as there is usually more congestion and someone to help clean up a mistake and it is not as glaring. As long as it is not reckless aggressiveness I am good with it and anticipate some lumps down the road.

Plays at a different speed and physicality level than everyone else in our secondary. The others flash it but Scott is at that level on every snap and stands out.

Could just be where he's closer to the LOS and around the ball more but I'm still waiting to see Poyser/Lucas/OJ play with his level of urgency and energy.
