Kc McDermott update

  • Kc gets asked to check up on recruits who are thinking about Miami
  • He tells other recruits how great it is and what Miami has to offer
  • Says he's committed and doing his best to help the team win
  • Says he's working hard on Johnnie Dixon
  • Says they live in the same area and he's doing whatever he can to see if Dixon will come down to Miami
  • Says he thinks Dixon will realize that going to Miami with people from the same area could create a strong connection
  • Says Miami is our home school and it's only 1 hour down the road
  • Says he's also worked on Travis Rudolph a little bit
  • Says he follows recruiting closely and is excited about the kids who have committed
  • Says there's too many academic advantages to pass up enrolling in January
  • Is taking online classes to help him graduate early
  • Says his brother has been working hard
  • Says from what he's seen at practice, the players are putting so much time into it

@dkurtenbach: Kc McDermott said today that he won’t be enrolling early at Miami. I didn’t push it, so i’m not sure if its his or UM’s decision.

It gets to the point that I wonder why Dixon would say no. The chemistry with the staff and players is there, close to home, a great system to succeed I mean why would you leave this chance?

because we return 4 great receivers and not including who we bring in

Yeah but wrs can never be afraid of competition, plus Stacy will play this year and that will show that wrs can play here as freshmans. By his sophmore year Herb and Malcolm may be gone if they blow up and then he's in there

Just spoke to Miami commit Kc McDermott says he still plans on enrolling early. He hadn't heard those rumors until I had asked him about it.
