KatieGate 2.0: Recruits React to Canes Beating the Gates [2025 Edition]

The original post was meant as a joke that all you sunshine pumpers are reading way to far into lol. Blame the rain if you want to (was a light drizzle I’ve seen from others in attendence) but it wasn’t a great game plan to highlight how we would use WRs in our offense. There’s plenty of passing concepts that can be used to attack two high safety looks that aren’t bubble screens. Acknowledgment of this isn’t saying it wasn’t a good win, but my original post was a jest saying that maybe we shouldn’t ask those WRs their impression of the game because it wasn’t a very WR friendly gameplan.
I'm not gonna read more than this one page. So if I'm off on how I critique this then I'll apologize in advance. #1 it's not a reach to acknowledge the offense as a whole was miserable yesterday. I'd like to say it was on Dawson or it was on Beck. Reality is it was a mix of factors and to sit here and complain is lame as **** and just tells me y'all will NEVER be ****** happy. Reality is no matter the situation and no matter the cause we DOMINATED these ***** *** gayturds who are our biggest rival in recruiting for almost the entirety of the game. ***** irrelevant that you or anyone else didn't like how that domination looked. When your offense (who has proven they wanna sling it around and get everyone involved in the game)has a bad day by anyone's standard yet you still can line up behind a entirely dominant o line and pound that rock down the other teams throat ALL GAME. That's domination. Ufag had one series where they showed a lil pride. We broke those peoples spirits. That's what recruits wanna see. We've already shown the ability and the willingness to involve everyone in all facets of the game. Damned if we did yesterday or not. aint no sunshine in this. Just reality.

The game was soaking wet for the vast majority of time. Telecast didn’t do it justice.

I’ve been there when it rains at the start, but it was raining so hard at the beginning that when fans were getting into the stadium, they stopped checking tickets and were letting people through the turnstiles just to get them under concourse cover.

Our QB and current wide receivers didn’t play well, but there’s absolutely nothing you can take from this game that would dissuade a legitimate receiver from signing with the program.

whatever you say Cuck. Sorry for pointing out how ****** our passing game was last night. I’ll hop back in line like the rest of you and ignore our shortcomings. Forgot you can’t say anything resembling a criticism after a win.
So not for a second does it register in your mind maybe our game plan changed a little based on all of the other factors involved? Or you think seeing our quarterback was playing like **** seeing our center couldn't figure out how to snap the ball seeing the weather and understanding Florida's defense we should have just kept forcing throws down the field and said who cares if we win the game or not right? Because Lord knows you wouldn't have gave a **** if we lost. You'd be perfectly happy that we lost as long as we just threw the ball so those receivers could see us chunk it...

It’s clear yall are just making **** up. No where did I state it wasn’t a good win or that I was upset with how it looked. Again, the original post was a joke that said to not check with the wr recruits for their opinion after a game where the passing game sucked. We won, and dominated both lines of scrimmage at the end of the day. Enjoy your Sunday though G!

Since the portal came around, i aint worried about not one high school kid thinks except at a few positions like CB, DL and OL. Those are the hard ones to get in the portal, especially the defensive ones. Be crying bout kids and in 6 months they on the market like Jurion D!ckey. If they dont enjoy seeing us win like they claim for years, they can get on the bus back to Gainesville going home sad 🤣🤣🤣

We landed a solid to great group of CBs. To me, it's all about the big uglies for HS recruiting. Those guys are really hard to peel off later. Of course, I want to be a Top 10 ranked class year in year out. But we should never bend over for any one recruit outside of a lineman like Jackson Cantwell or Tank Jones.

this is a kid i want for down the road. Great display for him to see with Bain and Mesidor.

3-star DL Frederic Sainteus
“It was sad because the Gators were always a team I was looking at when I was young. Right now, they keep losing again and again, but we never know what can happen next year. There is a lot of things that need to be changed. The defense is very good, that’s 100% sure. It’s the offense part that’s bad. They can’t run, receivers are not catching, and the tight ends are not running a lot, but yeah, after that, great defense.”

2027 4-star IOL Reed Ramsier

“I thought tonight was a great win for the Canes. The trenches were dominant on both sides of the ball. I think coach [Alex] Mirabal’s OL helping to lead the offense. Miami is closer and closer to winning the natty. Florida needs to get something going on offense, but their defense played really well.”

Frederic handler appears desperately trying to keep the gators in it lol

this is my thoughts as well...

im not breaking the bank at rb or lb.

But ol and dl we should be spending big yearly then landing that qb.

Any recruit at the game should have been impressed. The crowd was electric and Miami dominated their instate rival despite having a poor game on an offense in poor weather. Physically beat their ***. Miami should have their choice of elite offensive lineman. The five star commit from Missouri can just focus on what CiCi does and say “that’s me next year”. Elite defensive ends can look at Bain and Mesidor and say to themselves “that’s what I want to be next year”.

Maybe an elite wide receiver is going to think “their passing game wasn’t all that” but so what? Beck could’ve thrown for 500 yards and five touchdowns but he’s not coming back next year. **** Dawson may not even come back next year.

If you’re a smart young man you’re thinking where do you fit in the upward trajectory of the program? Maybe you think “Miami is playing their young wide receivers, so if I work hard, I can earn some playing time. I have to block in the run game too, but that just makes me a better player. This is a championship caliber program and they can use a player like me.”
