Maye fumbles in the end zone, we recover for a TD, no...a lineman runs it out of the end zone so no safety no TD
We score a TD, put 6 on the board, no..weird fumble NC recovers.
NC, 4th and short, Maye starts his slide a yard short of first down, Miami ball..no, first down NC.
Miami has GT beat, they take a victory kneel and the clock runs out...no, they run the ball and fumble.
GT, seconds on the clock and defense has held them most of the game...no, several quick plays and they score winning the game.
NCAA says Tyrek is eligible, first game back no factor, Tyrek has a career day against Miami...Miami loses.

Meanwhile:
FSU at BC up 2 points BC marches down for the winning FG..no, penalties kill the drive fsu wins.
FSU at Clemson and Clemson has the ball leading and killing the clock, game over...no, Clemson fumbles and a DL rumbles for a score winning the game.

I don't believe in Karma but winning teams have a HABIT of making the required plays and we lack that winning habit! Also sorry if my "facts" aren't exact...I'm a bit upset and won't research!

Been said we made some deal with devil years ago and its only getting more cruel..
 
No doubt we have had some bad luck the last two games. A lot of it has been enabled by our own inability to make the right play/call at crucial times in the game. The coaches and players have been doing dumb things to compound the bad luck and the refs have been prepared to make us pay for it.

We still aren't a bad team, but we are a flawed team with exploitable weaknesses. We had UNC on the ropes on the road and just **** the bed in the third quarter. If not for a couple of funky plays in the first half, we might have built a big enough lead to withstand that big 3rd Q and pull out the victory.

Regardless, we were supposed to lose that game and I am not getting too down about it. The loss to GT kills us in the ACCCG race but we still have an opportunity to get a meaningful W that can turn the tide of our season against Clemson.

If we can pull out a victory Saturday night, we will have beaten the 2nd best team left on our schedule. A team that took FSU to the brink and also had em on the ropes and let them off the hook with some flukey junk.

To make the ACCCG we have to win out and have FSU drop a game. I don't think Duke makes it out of the season with less than 2 ACC losses, especially if Leonard continues to be sidelined. If they drop the game to FSU as expected and then we pull out the rest of our games including an admittedly unlikely win in Doak we could sneak into the ACCCG and get the rematch with UNC.

I still choose to believe we can win the remaining games on the schedule. I don't expect it but if you take each game one by one there's not one thing about any particular match up (besides FSU) that I think we can't win. I'm still going to root for these guys like there's actually something to play for.

We drop the game at home to Clemson and we are playing for a participation trophy and our pride, which sucks.
