Kareem Hunt released

If she was kicked out for not wanting to have *** with one of the guys why would she be banging on the door screaming the n word wanting to get back in?

Couldn't tell you, just what I read. If nothing bad happened why would one of his guys take her phone? My guess is to delete whatever she was recording. Major he said she said going on, but regardless he went too far.

At the time of the incident, the woman told police the whole thing started because Kareem kicked her out of his room after she refused to hook up with one of the men in Kareem's entourage.

He broke her phone because what happened can be perceived any number of ways as we see now that the video has been released. He was just protecting his friend like any good friend would have done.

Don’t you think if this girl felt like she was attacked it would have been all over the news? When she was kicked out of the room she should have got an Uber and went home but she proceeded to bang on his door for 30 minutes saying whatever she could to get them to come out of the room or let her back in. Do you think Kareem hunt should be banned from the nfl for an assault charge at worst when there are people like joe Mixon and tyreke hill playing in the nfl?

He should be suspended 6 games like it states in nfl rules and hopefully dolphins sign him to a vet minimum contract next year.

Just watched the video, and ofc he could have handled it better but supposedly she called him the N word and he barely touched her. I thought he was on some ray rice ****, but no. Supposedly he got release for lieing about it not doing. There was times when both of them could have just walked away, that being said his actions did not deserve being released at all.

Not sure about her banging on the door for 30 minutes, did not see that anywhere, and would wonder why no one else on the floor would call security with this kind of disruption for 30 minutes at 3AM. Seems sketchy.

I cannot answer why it did not come out publicly, but she did call the police, although the video says the hotel seemed to not want to make the call. Could there have been a payoff with her to keep things quiet, who knows?

Should Harvey Weinstein and Les Moonves been fired for their actions, or just suspended for a few weeks without pay? Depends on how you want to view society I guess, if you think it is okay to beat up a woman and be allowed to play in the NFL because you were gifted superior ability so be it.

If the women did use the N word she should be charged with a hate crime as well. No excuse for ignorance in our society, but violence to women is shameful and should have severe consequences. Beating a woman, missing a few games and paychecks, then going back to way more money than the average person makes does not seem like much punishment.

In an era where one misstated or misinterpreted word can get you fired, KC had no choice when there was a video out there.

Also, we dont know what other incidents there might have been that havent been reported. KC would have checked with their lawyers and Goodell before releasing him.

Did u see the video, bc he did not beat her at all. If he did not lie about it he would have not been suspended at all.

Yes I saw it and would agree it was overblown if not for the kick. The second shove was excessive as well. He had friends trying to restrain him, so they apparently knew he was out of hand and about to find trouble he did not need. Sometimes in life you have to make critical decisions, and he failed. Sometimes it is not easy to walk away, but what was he really going to achieve but pushing and kicking that girl?

If there was any threat to himself or family I understand, but there wasn't.

I see your point of view and others that side with Hunt. However, he lied to the Chiefs, so it is hard to give him much benefit of doubt in the unknown questions now. I do not think he is 100% at fault, but he could have handled the situation much differently. what if kicking her in the face had killed her? Then you have two lives wasted, not just potentially a career. And yes, I believe he will be picked up rather quickly by an NFL franchise needing a RB.

I definitely agree the he could have obviously could have handled it better, I'm just saying that everything was blown like he ray rice her. His friends were holding back but it wasn't really working, if he wanted to really beat her he could of, the kick was like a tap to me, the only thing that was bad was when he pushed the dude, who went flying into the girl.

Suppose it was your mom, wife/woman, or daughter, then how would you feel?

Also, I thought I read the girl(s) was kicked out because she would not have *** with one of his crew as he wanted her to. Perhaps a little more lying is going on than just to the Chiefs.

If it was my mom, wife, etc. I wouldn't give af if he was kicked out of the NFL. I would have jumped his *** off camera and let it go. Only a ***** would want the police or NCAA to handle their business.

The girl shoved that guy right before he went flying into her. If he is at fault so is she.

He didn’t beat her in that video. What is your definition of beating someone and domestic violence? Watching that video both parties should be charged with assault(misdemeanor) if anything.

Her using the n word to provoke this was on sportcenter and it was also on other media outlets. You are making a lot of assumptions. It boils down to what is too far for a woman to go before she is wrong? She attacked him with racial slurs and not to mention open hand slapped him. Woman today preach for equality not sure why it should be different when they instigate a problem like this. If he knocked her out cold close hand punch like ray rice I agree but it is not even close to that. Kareem hunt is being held to another standard because he is a football player in most situation both parties are hit with an assault charge or they go their separate ways and no one is charged(watch an episode or two of live PD)

KC did what they had to do bc he lied about some details but he will play again. He is not kicked off the team bc of the incident. Insinuating anyone who doesn’t agree with you believes that it is okay to beat women shows how close minded you are.

I don't believe there's any truth/proof she called them the N-word.

Never said she was without fault, but you choose to read into what I write as you will. This is about Hunt's actions, although I did note that I did not believe he was 100% at fault for the incident.

So let me ask you, if a man knocked out a woman with one punch or kick, is it not DV, since it was only one hit? You are trying to trivialize to prove your point. Fact is he pushed as woman, then pushed someone very hard into the woman, and when she was down, seemingly (speculation, yes) disorientated, he kicked her in the face. I guess you feel that since he did not continue to hit her it is not a beating? I disagree.

Close minded?

You "He should be suspended 6 games like it states in nfl rules and hopefully dolphins sign him to a vet minimum contract next year."

Me: "I guess, if you think it is okay to beat up a woman and be allowed to play in the NFL because you were gifted superior ability so be it."

You: "Insinuating anyone who doesn’t agree with you believes that it is okay to beat women shows how close minded you are."

Think you are being a little thin skinned here. I asked about Weinstein and Moonves as well, for more of a morally right or wrong. I am not casting my views on anyone. So be it, is basically agree to disagree.
