Former Alabama and Kansas transfer guard Rylan Griffin is visiting the Miami Hurricanes, which came as a bit of a surprise. He shared this news on his Instagram story on Tuesday around noon.

Rylan is visiting Coral Gables today along with his teammate, transfer guard Rakease Passmore, who is also from Kansas.

Wouldn't be a big fan of this move. Had a good year in 23-24 but I think he's kind of proven the player he is based off his freshmen and junior years, an average 3 point shooter who doesn't contribute much rebounding, ball handling or defensively. There are better options out there.

He can get a bucket which as shown during this past tournament matters a lot. Won’t be scared to take a shot.

Of course, that comes with the consequences. Interesting career he has had so far. He is one of those highly touted HS prospects so I’d be weary if his attitude wasn’t right.

Overall wouldn’t mind the guy as a bench contributor. Definitely not a must get.

No clue why he left Alabama but a ton of guards struggle in Bill Self’s offense. **** Quentin Grimes lost a lot of money going to KU.
